✨ 2 months ago today, on my 26th birthday (7.13.25), I made the greatest decision of my life by publicly declaring my life belongs to Christ. Covering my earthly birthday with a new one! 🥹

There are so many words I could use to describe how much my life has changed in the past year, yet none could ever capture how GREAT my God truly is. I’m grateful to be called, grateful to be changed, and grateful to still be growing & pruning. Prayerfully setting an example for those around me. 💕

A special thank you to my support system, I’m learning how to lean on community, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the one that I have. And to my church @4wardcity , the BEST church, with the best leaders @travisgreenetv & @drjackiegreene thank you for your continued yes. Thank you for the safe space that continues to shape me and push me closer to Christ. 🥰🩵

Stepping into this next chapter fully surrendered and fully loved. 💕 My birthday is officially the best day ever! 🥳 taken in Forward City Church by @slayedby_cocoaa_

Background dancer is cool, but choreograph too?! Grateful isn't even the word 😫🙌🏾 First, thank you God for this gift of not only dancing, but CREATING magic. It is only through You that I am capable to do what I do & I do NOT take it for granted. 🙏🏾

I am so thankful to my sissy girl @essenceperkins_ for even thinking of me! Our heads together is surely a guaranteed masterpiece 🥹 To all of the ladies that were apart of this experience, all of us together created something soooo cool and exciting. From the car ride, the food, the worship on the ride, and more!

I always imagined what my first music video experience would be like, but THEE Travis Greene was never on my radar 😭❤️ @travisgreenetv - thank you for this BANGER, the welcoming atmosphere, & the opportunity to be apart of this legendary project! 🫶🏾

✨ MEET COACH A ✨

A’Vionne Richardson is the Director of Southern Sass Auxiliary for the Golden Griffin Marching Band. Coach A has served in this role for 5 years and is the first Southern Sass alum to return to the program as Director.

She earned her B.A. in Dance Performance from Winthrop University, with a focus in choreography and performance.

Her experience includes, but is not limited to:

• Dance Educator, Fairfield Magnet School for Math & Science
• Dance Coordinator, South Carolina Mass Band
• Award-Winning Choreographer, Red Rose Mafia Majorette Dance Team
• Inaugural Majorette Coach, Winthrop University Spirit Squad
• Former ProForce Dancer & Captain, Charlotte Thunder/AFL
• Choreographer and trainer for collegiate, secondary, and independent programs throughout North and South Carolina

Under her leadership, 4 Southern Sass members have continued into HBCU auxiliary programs, making her the first Director to have Southern Sass members reach HBCU programs.

Coach A’s vision for Southern Sass goes beyond talent. She is passionate about using her faith and journey with Christ to develop young women who are disciplined, prepared for college and career, confident in who God has called them to be, and unafraid to be set apart. She also strives to create an authentic identity through original choreography and a performance experience that cannot be found anywhere else.

Her leadership philosophy:

“Build people, establish standards, and let the results speak for themselves.” 🤏🏾💫

📖 Hebrews 12:10–11 (ERV)

We’re excited to have Coach A continue to lead our marching band auxiliary this season! 🖤💛 taken in Fairfield Central High School by @slayedby_cocoaa_

Day in the life of a dance teacher.🥰

As a teacher coming off of summer break and getting back into the swing of things, restoration is definitely on the radar for these next couple of weeks.

As we dive deeper into restoration this month, I'm reminded that restoration isn't just about getting back to where you were. It's allowing God to renew you, refresh you, and prepare you for where He's taking you next🩷

Are you wanting to go deeper beyond this month?

Welcoming the new girls on the block!!!✨🩷

August is dedicated to restoration, and it would be stingy of us not to extend that invitation to every woman who's ready to step into freedom.

Meet Ebony & A'Vionne as they share their journeys of restoration, healing, and purpose while discovering what it looks like to surrender, rebuild, and walk boldly in Christ.

Restoration isn't just something we talk about... it's something we experience.

Want to join us on the journey and take your next step toward freedom in Christ?Comment “Permission” and I’ll send you the link to download the app📲🥰

Sharing my faith and journey with my girls is the best thing I could’ve done. Another season is underway, but this one feels different 🥹🖤💛

As stated in the voiceover, we had weekly anchor scriptures. They were as follows:

Band Camp Week 1 - 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 CSB ❤️
Therefore we do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day. For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory. So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Band Camp Week 2 - Hebrews 12:11 NLT ❤️
We don’t enjoy discipline when we get it. It is painful. But later, after we have learned our lesson from it, we will enjoy the peace that comes from doing what is right.

Band Week 3 - Romans 12:4-5 TPT ❤️
In the human body there are many parts and organs each with a unique function. And so it is in the body of Christ. For though we are many, we’ve all been mingled into one body in Christ. This means that we are all vitally joined to one another each contributing to the others.

Stay tuned for the season too boo 🥰 by @slayedby_cocoaa_
