A full year in the making... This piece is a tribute to this special place — the land, the water, and all the layers of life it holds. The project was inspired by and gives a nod to the spirit of “Aloha,” a philosophy of kindness, compassion, and respect that moved us as we built this collection, even as this shirt’s heart and story belong here, to Sleeping Bear Dunes. A massive thank you to @nateknoth for his devotion to this project and the gift of his illustration, and to our partners in Marquette who brought it to life alongside us through months of fabric testing, and fit development. September sail pt. 2: Platte Bay → North Manitou → high island → Beaver Island Conditions have been across the board, from all-time to a classic butt kicking. Good anchorages, lots of swimming, maybe a sleepless night or two. Batteries stopped charging, but thankfully it was a blown fuse down the line from the alternator. While replacing that, we noticed a substantial leak from the impeller where an O-ring had blown out. Nothing a cardboard gasket can’t fix!
