I like this a lot! The pink is so cute 😄 I have tarsal coalition in both of my feet and it helps to have a little bit of support, specifically arch support. The arch support is great and it’s super comfortable. I’m a very small person; my shoe size is 5.5 and my legs are pretty skinny. I was pleasantly surprised that the sock part fit very well and is not loose. However, the strap part is just a little bit too long for me. It still works good but I wish it was just a little shorter. by @sleevestars

"Pull it real good and tight" sounds right, but it's actually the most common way people undercut how well a patella strap works 🦵

The overtightening mistake More tension doesn't equal more relief. Cranking a strap down as tight as possible can actually restrict circulation or press unevenly on the tissue around it, which shows up as numbness, throbbing, or discomfort that has nothing to do with the original knee pain. The goal is focused, even pressure over the tendon, not maximum tightness.

A simple fit check After putting it on, you should be able to slide a finger comfortably underneath it. If your lower leg starts feeling numb, tingly, or unusually cold within the first few minutes, it's too tight, and loosening it slightly usually fixes that immediately.

Why position matters as much as tightness About an inch or two below the kneecap, directly over the tendon, is where focused pressure actually helps. A couple inches in the wrong direction, or overtightened to compensate for poor placement, and you lose the targeted effect the strap is designed for.
✅ Snug and secure, not maximum tightness
✅ Check for numbness or tingling after putting it on
✅ Correct placement matters more than how hard you pull

Effective doesn't mean uncomfortable, it means positioned and tightened right 💪

Unisex sizing sounds simple, but foot shape varies enough between people that it's worth an extra minute checking before assuming one size setting works the same for everyone 🦶

Why unisex fit needs a specific check
On average, foot width and volume differ somewhat between typical male and female foot proportions, even at the same length. A sleeve that's snug enough for one foot shape can feel loose or restrictive on another at the same labeled size. That's not a flaw in unisex design, it just means checking fit at the widest part of your foot matters more than going off shoe size alone.

What a warranty actually tells you
A 5 year warranty is a genuine signal worth paying attention to, not just a selling point. Companies generally only offer longer warranties on compression and elastic based products when the materials are actually built to hold their stretch and support over repeated wear and washing. Cheaper elastic tends to break down within months, which is exactly what shorter or missing warranties are often covering for.

Worth doing before buying
✅ Check fit at the widest part of your foot, not just your shoe size
✅ Look at what a warranty actually covers, stretch and material failure versus just manufacturing defects
✅ Buying multiple at once often comes with a discount, worth checking if you'll use more than one

The details in the fine print say more about quality than the marketing usually does 💪

I bought this after spraining my ankle pretty badly, and it’s been a huge upgrade from a regular Ace bandage. The Ace bandage I was using was getting stretched out, slipping off my foot, and I was constantly having to rewrap it, which got old fast.

This compression sock is so much easier. It very easy to put on, stays in place, gives consistent support, and I don’t have to keep messing with it throughout the day. It feels very secure without being too tight, and I can actually move around without worrying about it sliding down or coming loose.

What I love is the ability to adjust the tightness with the Velcro strap that comes with it. It was absolutely wonderful when trying to really secure my ankle! Thankfully, I'm healing up so I stopped using the elastic strap and just wear the sock.

If you’re dealing with an ankle injury and tired of fighting with a traditional bandage, this is 100% worth it! by @sleevestars

Nice and soft. Well made. Could be more supportive though so I think I should've sized down. I measured 10 and it said to size up. The sock isn't tight like my other compression sock and the elastic piece is too long to give enough support. I have hEDS and sprain/sublax my ankles all the time and cant walk without support when it happens. The colours nice but for more support, I recommend sizing down if you measure on the border by @sleevestars

Three completely different people, three completely different reasons this strap made a difference 👇

🤰 Seven months pregnant, on her feet all shiftAn old injury flared back up during pregnancy, and between retail work, long shifts, and constant bending and squatting, she needed something that could keep up. Lightweight and soft enough to wear through a full shift, and it held up.

🏀 A mom, supporting her son through Osgood-SchlatterHe mentioned the strap himself and asked for it. Since wearing it, his pain has noticeably eased, and the adjustable sizing meant he could actually get it positioned right over the sore spot instead of settling for a rough fit.

⚽ A teen, through double header soccer daysPut on right when the twinge starts, and the difference is immediate. Preventative wear is even better when it happens, though getting a teenager to remember before it hurts is its own challenge. Lightweight, easy to wash, and stays in place through back to back games.

Different bodies, different reasons, same strap doing the work 💪

Very good quality. Breathable. I can wear it all day without any discomfort. After wearing it consistently for a few days, I have noticed an improvement with my #plantarfasciitis . It’s worth the price!

Note: Observation is based on wearing it for roughly 16 hours a day. Improved was recognized after a few days, and I will continue to wear it since it’s really helping and it’s not bothering me at all. by @sleevestars

I badly sprained my ankle a week ago and have been unable to walk. As soon as I was able to shuffle around the house without crutches I bought one of these to help with my recovery.

Unfortunately it arrived after I needed it for my first trip out walking on crutches to school and back yesterday, so I had some pain and discomfort when I got back home.

As soon as this arrived in the evening I put it on, and the relief was instant and welcome. It’s like a gentle but firm, supportive hug for an injured ankle. It instantly eased the pressure and pain I’d been experiencing when moving around the house.

I put it on as soon as I got up this morning and it makes me feel a lot more confident when moving about. Hopefully this will help my sprain heal quicker and help me get back to normal as soon as possible.

I have it positioned a little lower than the product image due to still experiencing swelling in my foot beneath my toes, but there’s just enough space in the brace for the ankle strap to still fit around the whole sock (and up around my ankle to support it fully) without touching my skin.

Very impressed and pleased with this product.

Also, love the colour, I feel happy just looking at it 🥰 by @sleevestars

🦶 Choosing the Right Shoes for Plantar Fasciitis

Not all shoes are created equal when it comes to protecting your feet. Here's what to look for:

✅ Good arch support — matches your foot's natural shape and stops the fascia from over-stretching
✅ Deep, firm heel cup — keeps your heel from rolling side to side
✅ Cushioned sole — softens the impact with every step
✅ Slightly stiff midsole — the shoe shouldn't twist easily in the middle
✅ Wide toe box — toes need room to move naturally
✅ Removable insoles — so you can add extra support if needed

🚫 What to avoid:
❌ Flat, unsupportive shoes or flimsy flats
❌ Worn-out sneakers (even if they still look okay)
❌ Cheap flip-flops with zero structure

💡 Quick test: place your shoe on a flat table. If it wobbles instead of sitting flat and steady, it's time for a new pair.

There's no single "best shoe" for everyone — it depends on your foot shape and arch type. But getting the fit right is one of the easiest ways to prevent heel pain from creeping back. 👟
