“Practice putting yourself in the path of oncoming beauty”- Curt Thompson

I’ve come across so much beauty in the last few months. I’m sure I’ve missed some too, but I’m passionate about looking for it and I want to seek it every day to find it. It truly does heal and it brings an acute awareness of God’s incredible character, his creativity, his ultimate presence as the author of beauty. His goodness and faithfulness and never changing-ness. He gives such good gifts.
I’ve been reminded recently of the preciousness and frailty of life and how beauty in all forms changes our perspective and gives us more of a longing for eternity. What an amazing world we get to live in! by @slgoode

An old fashioned 4th of July weekend celebration, lake day, family wedding shower, fireworks, lemonade, & apple pie. To top it off a barn dance on the farm in the newly remodeled barn we all grew up in. Don’t miss the hubs in a cowboy hat😉 Nothing more American than that!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 taken in Maxwell, Nebraska by @slgoode

This is 39 years, we decided this afternoon the the effort of going out was too much, a quiet ribeye kinda night, wedding album and our fave sides and snacks. A long, steady, journey together, not perfect by any means, but real and deep and beautiful.
