ARE YOU GOING SIT THERE OR DO SOMETHING?
.
This was Zoey this morning. Just sitting in the snow turning into an ice cube. I open the door and said “Come in Zoey or you’ll freeze your little hiney off.” But she just stayed there till I went and picked her up out of the freezing snow.
.
Well some of us are just like this. We’re being blinded by all that’s around us but we don’t even realize we’re stuck. We need someone to pick us up out of our muck.Well, today is your day!
.
Much to your chagrin, I don’t think the world is going to pots. But I do think we’re so over-consumed with negative news (that sells bazillions and tries to frame our thoughts) that “things couldn’t get worse” its all too often the first thing that comes to mind and out of our mouths. Nothing good can come out of digesting constant doom and gloom, no matter your source.
.
So here’s an idea to pick you up:

❤️Turn it all off.
❤️Talk to God.
❤️Read your Bible.

...and just see how your worry and perspective completely changes.
.
"...in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." 2 Cor. 4:4

Matthew 5:5 MSG "You’re blessed when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less. That’s the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can’t be bought." 📷 Walking down the dirt road from the Mount of Beatitudes at sunset. 😊 #livingjoyforher #journalofintentionalliving
