Hey, my name is Sergii, and I like coffee, as you might’ve guessed from my handle 😅

I thought I’d reintroduce myself and share a few words about who I am and what I’m trying to do here.

What initially started as a fun project two years ago has now grown into something much bigger, with over 50k followers who’ve joined organically. To achieve something like this from nothing but enthusiasm and a pure love for coffee, I couldn’t be more proud and grateful for where I am today.

First and foremost, I’m grateful for every kind word and every person I’ve met along the way! The stories behind the people I’ve met are truly inspiring. I’ve had countless people reach out to compliment my passion, offer coffee to try, invite me to their shops, or just say, “Come by whenever you’re around!” I have a long list of these places and will make sure to visit every single one I’ve starred on Google Maps when I have the time 😅

Throughout this journey, I’ve developed some skills and accumulated knowledge about social media and how it works ⚙️ So, if you’re a coffee roaster or coffee equipment producer in need of genuine coffee-related content, or social media advice on how to get started, please feel free to reach out.
We will work something out 🙌🏻😊

Looking ahead, I’m excited to create more fun and educational content on how to get started with coffee on a budget and how to progress and upgrade your coffee corner over time. I absolutely love brewing coffee outdoors, and I plan to make that a big part of my content as well. Once I find the right sponsorship, I’m excited to take that to the next level, so stay tuned!

Coffee is a fruit 🍒

That’s why it pairs well with other fruits! And just look at this smooth dessert 🍨 Papaya affogato 🤩

With @merakitechglobal Gen 2 the workflow is even more fun! 🤩 I change the portafilters every day haha. Also in this video I have used the @ims_filtri filter basket, it fits perfectly and I like the extraction that this one provides especially for fruity coffees like this one!

How cool is that you can set the exact amount of dry dose and yield ☕️ in this one I’ve put 17.5 in to 20g out to get that really concentrated flavor of the ristretto to mix it well and dilute/melt the papaya a bit less.

In the end - such an amazing yummy dessert that will make any coffee moment very special 🤎🙌

Slightly Overcaffeinated taxi 🚕🫴☕️

On a sunny day I headed to the beach but wanted to share a beautiful coffee with the driver.

They’ve picked the fruity one, single origin filter roast from Brew methods. So I knew exactly what I’m doing, long ratio with hotter temp and coarser grind size. What people might call “soup” these day 😭😂 Delicious coffee and in the end you can hear the feedback 😍

Making coffee with @wacaco_official Pixapresso is super easy, this was light roast so the coffee was still very dense so I pulled a longer shot to make it more balanced and it tasted fantastic 🤤

I think I need to start new series, should I? 😊🤝

E V E R Y D A Y 🫶☕️

Coffee is such a big part of my life, and it’s crazy how far it’s taken me. It’s never been just a drink or a morning boost for me. Coffee is a language, a tool, a hobby, a connection and, in many ways love ❤️

A few years ago when I started this page, I couldn’t imagine where it would take me. One of the best parts has been all the different people I’ve met through coffee and the connections that came with it 🌸

Super grateful for everyone who’s been supporting me through the ups and downs. 🫂It’s been a really good ride so far, and the future in coffee feels even more exciting!!

I’ll keep doing what I do — learning, sharing, highlighting farmers and all the people behind coffee whenever I can 🫡
If I can change even one person’s perspective on coffee, it’s already worth it.

And somewhere along the way, I think I’ve managed to make quite a few people slightly overcaffeinated too 😂🤎

To every farmer, picker, roaster, barista, coffee pro and coffee enthusiast I’ve met along the way - THANK YOU 😭

Yes it’s not 69 seconds, it’s 29 but what is the difference?

Well if you get long extraction with that much restriction and little no flow you can get pretty harsh tasting cup in the end. Your puck will be unevenly extracted and potentially you will get more oils from the finer grind size.

The difference will be quite noticeable, recipe makes it easier to stay consistent, but sometimes with tweaking the variables you can get better results. First - taste the result and see if you like it. Sometimes more dense coffees shine in longer contact time, say 32-35 seconds.
The easiest way to test it is side by side comparison 🙌
Don’t lock yourself into the frame that we invented many years ago 😊☕️

Meraki Gen 2 is a perfect example of what happens when a manufacturer actually listens to user feedback 👏

Personally, I never had any issues with my Gen 1. The grinder had enough range for me to dial in even very light roasts, with good particle distribution, and I’ve always been really happy with the extractions ☕️

But the community gave Meraki feedback, and they listened.

One of the biggest changes is the E61-compatible group head, which makes a lot of sense. You now have the freedom to use different portafilters and customize the setup to your liking. I’m using a stainless steel one in this video, and I think it gives the machine such a good look. 😮‍💨

The new dispersion screen works beautifully too, giving a very even pre-wetting across the puck. I personally don’t really feel the need to use a puck screen with it.

For me though, the grinder is probably the biggest update. It gives you even more control and makes it easier to dial in pretty much any coffee exactly to your liking🤍🤎🖤

Gen 2 also comes with Software 2.0 out of the box, and the good news is that Gen 1 owners can update to it as well.

I’m still so impressed by how well Meraki suits home users and how much this machine offers. I stand behind what I’ve been saying about it…. and soon I want you to experience it for yourself ;)

Chestnut 🌰 S5 Pro 🔥 by @timemoreproducts

I’ve been keeping this quiet for about a month now, but I’ve been enjoying the chestnut S5 pro quite a lot lately 🤗

So here is my video of brewing my Friday afternoon coffee with it 🤤

So far what I can tell — QUALITY, BALANCE AND JOY! 🤩
This grinder screams quality and the cup it delivers has a great balance 🍑
Easy to use and it brings me joy just holding in in my hands haha. Super satisfying to grind and great particle distribution! I’ll keep brewing with it every day so that I can get more experience with it so hang in there for a full review and maintenance tutorial soon 🔜

Did you know we grow coffee in Australia? 🇦🇺☕️🌴

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to spend some time at @jackmuratcoffee farm in Northern Queensland, and honestly, what an experience.

Getting to see the whole process firsthand — from picking cherries to processing and experimenting with different coffees — was something really special. Huge thanks to @julijanmarkovic_ for taking me along and @sergioalt for showing us around and sharing what he’s building at the farm. 🤝

Australian-grown coffee is incredibly rare, making up less than 1% of the coffee consumed in Australia. So getting to experience it directly from the farm felt pretty damn special!

What really excites me is seeing where this can go. With new trees being planted, new varieties coming in, and more people in the coffee community discovering Australian-grown coffee, it feels like we’re watching the beginning of something pretty exciting

There’s a whole world behind these short clips, and I feel genuinely lucky to have been able to visit the farm, meet Jack and Mr Plum 👨‍🌾👨‍🌾 have a few good chats, experiment, and support them however I can.

Super pumped to see how Australian coffee farming continues to evolve over the coming years. 🌱🇦🇺

Travel 🧳 @xbloom_coffee 🖤☕️

Just a reminder, traveling and saving the memories is the best investment you can make 😌☺️

A little throwback to a beautiful weekend with my friends out in Philip island. Good food, good people, long chats and of course good coffee 🌸 I brought MANY different ones with me that weekend. @brewmethods @stitch.coffee @zest_coffee @theflourmelbourne @differentecoffee and a few others 🥵 As per the brewer, I just wanted to chill and let my friends make coffee themselves 🖤 so it was very easy to pick 😂🤖🦾 @xbloom_coffee

Studio worked hard that weekend so I could concentrate on spending quality time with my friends 🙋‍♂️ we brewed many coffees and had a great time. And then had fun photographing this stop motion reel together 😂

Life’s been busy lately but I do find myself in a great place and enjoying the moment 🙏☺️

They were putting coffee machines in Volkswagen Beetles back in 1959. 👀☕️

Yep, you read that right 🥲

The Hertella Auto Kaffeemachine was a little coffee maker designed specifically for the VW Beetle and mounted straight onto the dashboard.

Fast-forward 60+ years and we’ve gone from a coffee machine attached to your car… to one small enough to carry anywhere @wacaco_official 🤏😍

Pixapresso 🤲 my best travel buddy these days, it can handle it all, heat up the water and even take capsules if you ran out of the coffee beans on the road 😊

No Beetle required, i have a better option for you @hireakombi and go away! This weekend weather looks way too good so I’m thinking what should I do … 👀 🚌 🏖️
And how good is to be able to have a freshly made coffee on the road 🔥 Just find a good spot, make yourself an espresso and enjoy this beautiful thing that is called LIFE 🌊😊🌸

It’s Monday 🧼 so lets clean my Meraki for another week ✨

@merakitechglobal has been on my bench for 8 months now and here is my cleaning routine, it was honestly the first time I did that deep clean to the grinder and I am so very surprised how low the retention 🤏 it was around 1 gram in total 🤝😅

I am getting ready to unbox the Gen 2 so this one needed a little clean before we get to kick off the new machine testing 🤲😙
By far Meraki has been one of the best machines for me to used it’s true “all in one” you literally take it out of the box and it’s ready to roll! Just add your beans and voila! Just make sure it’s from your LOCAL ROASTER! :)

No machine can fix the old and stale coffee so always pay attention to what coffee beans you’re buying 😙🖤
