Why the name SLM & Design Co.? SLM & Design Co. is more than a brand, it’s a piece of my heart. When it came time to choose a name, I knew I wanted something that honored the people who inspire me most: my family. Family has always been at the center of everything I value; love, tradition, creativity, and connection. Choosing SLM & Design Co. was my way of weaving their spirit into everything I create. Every handwritten letter, engraved detail, and personalized piece is made with the same care, devotion, and artistry that my family has always shown me. "S" stands for Shaquille (my fiancé), "L" for Layla (my daughter), and "M" for Milo (my son) They are my whole heart. The three letters also stand for what my business is about: "S" Signs, "L" Lettering, and "M" Memoribilia So when you are supporting my business, you're not just supporting me but you are supporting my FAMILY 🫶🏾 thank you from the bottom of my heart to you all have supported my family thus far! #family #familybusiness #livecalligraphy #liveengraving #liveheatfoiling #livehotfoiling #liveeventartist #liveevents #liveevent #weddingsigns #eventsigns #weddingsignage #eventsignage #onsiteevents #onsiteartist taken in Ocean City, Maryland by @slmanddesignco

Watching Tiffany of @slmanddesignco step into her role as the guide in her client’s journey and own her expertise has been such a joy! 🤩 When she joined Flourish in Biz, she’d already done everything she knew how to do. She updated her website and improved her SEO. Inquiries were finally coming in through Google, but only about half of them converted, so she knew it was time to look at what happened after an inquiry landed. 👀 Her entire process lived in her head, and sending the fastest possible reply felt like the only thing she had to offer. Today she knows her client experience is her best sales tool. 💸 She’s no longer trying to prove why somebody should choose her. She’s positioning herself as the obvious choice, showing up as the expert and guiding clients through the process instead of letting them dictate what happens. Just six weeks into the program, her numbers had already moved. 👇 Conversion up from 50% to 70-80%. Package value up from $1-1.5K to $1.5-2K. Time working ON her business up from under an hour per week to four hours. When she joined, she told me she wanted to book more sports events. She’s since booked multiple activations in that space! 🏈 None of those clients booked her because she replied faster. 👉 They booked her because she built an experience they felt confident saying yes to from the get-go. 🎉 Doors are officially open for Flourish in Biz, and our fall cohort kicks off September 7! Comment or DM me FIB and let’s turn your client experience into the thing that books the client for you 🤍 ——————————————— #calligraphybusiness #calligraphycoach #weddingcalligrapher #creativebusiness #flourishinbiz calligraphy business tips | calligraphy inquiry process | wedding calligrapher business | calligraphy client experience | live event calligraphy by @slmanddesignco

Come along with me to engrave compact mirrors for my sister’s baby sprinkle! Dusty blue and white balloon arches and a classic French toile backdrop set the scene. The tables were styled with candles, floral arrangements, and elegant gold silverware by @14thandflourish. Beautiful cupcakes by @thecakepros, macarons by the talented @heavenly_macarons, and decorated cookies by @wesleymadesweets tied the French theme together perfectly. For favors, guests could choose any word or phrase to be hand-engraved on a gold compact mirror — from moms choosing their own baby names to their own first names, and someone even picked “Joe’s girlfriend”! Such a fun celebration for soon-to-be-born Baby Riggins! Can't wait to meet my little nephew 😍 Live Engraver/Balloon Display/Welcome Sign: @slmanddesignco Tablescape/Floral Arrangements/Appetizers: @14thandflourish Cupcakes: @thecakepros Macarons: @heavenly_macarons Decorated Cookies: @wesleymadesweets #babysprinkle #babyshower #liveengraver #liveengraving taken in Hershey, Pennsylvania by @slmanddesignco

Live event with Versace at King of Prussia Mall, Philadelphia. This activation was such a fun one — I had the pleasure of painting on leather coin pouches made from leftover Versace scraps (how cool is that?!). With the launch of Versace’s new kids line, there were so many adorable little faces stopping by — it made the whole day extra special! Loved seeing all the bold colors, luxe textures, and creative energy come together for this event. 🎥 Watch the full reel to see the process in action!
