🌺 Jai Mata Di! 🌺

Today at Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir, we had the blessing of performing Kanya Puja with our little Durga Devis and Kaal Bhairav. 🧡

We are so proud of our children for participating with such patience, devotion, and joy. Watching them embrace our traditions made today all the more special.

Thank you to the parents for nurturing their children’s connection to our Dharma and being part of this beautiful day. A heartfelt thank-you also to everyone who brought gifts for the children—your love and generosity brought so many smiles!

We have no doubt that Durga Maa’s blessings are with our little ones. May She always protect and guide them, and may they grow with courage, kindness, and faith, knowing the divine light they carry within. 🙏

During this sacred time of Navrātri, we examine a verse from the Devī Māhātmya (11.6). When we worship Durga Maa, we must remember that Her divine presence is not confined to temples, murtis, or sacred scriptures. That same Shakti exists in the women around us, reflected through their strength, wisdom, compassion, and courage.

To truly honor the Divine Mother is to recognize, respect, and honor that divinity in every woman, not just during worship, but in our everyday thoughts, words, and actions.

On a personal note, I am incredibly blessed to be a husband and a proud girl dad to some very special Devis. I am very lucky to have been raised and shaped by wonderful mothers and grandmothers. Through them, I am reminded every day of the beauty, strength, love, and grace of the Divine Mother.

May we never forget that the Shakti we bow before is the same Shakti we encounter in the world around us.

Jai Mata Di! 🌺🙏
