During this sacred time of Navrātri, we examine a verse from the Devī Māhātmya (11.6). When we worship Durga Maa, we must remember that Her divine presence is not confined to temples, murtis, or sacred scriptures. That same Shakti exists in the women around us, reflected through their strength, wisdom, compassion, and courage.

To truly honor the Divine Mother is to recognize, respect, and honor that divinity in every woman, not just during worship, but in our everyday thoughts, words, and actions.

On a personal note, I am incredibly blessed to be a husband and a proud girl dad to some very special Devis. I am very lucky to have been raised and shaped by wonderful mothers and grandmothers. Through them, I am reminded every day of the beauty, strength, love, and grace of the Divine Mother.

May we never forget that the Shakti we bow before is the same Shakti we encounter in the world around us.

Jai Mata Di! 🌺🙏

The shloka featured in this week’s Guruvār Gyān reminds us that the Pitris (ancestors) are compassionate guardians that protect all directions, and bestow their guidance and blessings upon us. We honor them and express gratitude for the sacrifices they made that helped shape the lives we live today.

Pitru Paksh is a sacred time for remembrance, reflection, and prayer. Let us approach it with love and reverence, rather than fear. Om Sarva Pitrubhyo Namah 🙏🕉️

Namaste Neighbors! 🌿

Acharya Ganesh and Pandit Chadesh had the honor of representing Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir at both the Hindu Mandir Empowerment Conference and the Hindu Mandir Priest Conference in California this past weekend.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow priests and Mandir leaders, share ideas, and reflect on how we can continue serving our communities and inspiring the next generation. 🪔

Sharing a few moments from their trip! We’re grateful for opportunities like these that bring our wider Hindu community together. 💚

Please join us in congratulating our very own Acharya Ganesh Jadonath on receiving the Archaka Sree Award from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, recognizing his service and impact on our community for over 20 years. 🕉️

Through his teachings, guidance, and dedication to Sanatan Dharma, he continues to inspire families and help the next generation connect with our traditions. We are grateful for the love and devotion he brings to our community.

We have no doubt that his Pitris, especially the late Dharmacharya Pandit Jadonath, are showering their blessings upon him as he continues on the path of Dharma. 🙏🏽

Congratulations, Acharya Ganeshji! This recognition is so well deserved, and we are proud to celebrate you. 🤍

Namaste Neighbors! 🌿

The conversation continues!

Satya Sanatan Dharma is a science. It’s math. It’s philosophy. It’s spirituality. There is so much depth behind our Dharma and so much for us to continue learning and understanding.

Acharya Ganesh and Pandit Chadesh continue the conversation, exploring the meaning behind our practices and the “why” behind the things we do.

The more we understand our Dharma, the more meaningful our connection to it becomes. 🪔

🎥 Watch the latest episode of Namaste Neighbor, now LIVE on YouTube!

Watch, learn, ask questions, and continue the conversation with us. 🌿
