Exactly 1 month until the 90th edition of the @sloterplasloop 🥳

The first time that I have participated in this race, was back in 2014, in the pre-era of the carbon 💨 👟 👟

At that time, I managed to reach the finish in 38 minutes and 29 seconds.

And after an absence of more than 10 years, I returned at last year's edition and managed to reach the finish 7 seconds faster.

Looking forward to the race next month, organized by @aacamsterdam 🙌

On probably the hottest day of this week, a flashback to my last 10K race, which was the 89th edition of the @sloterplasloop, approximately 10 months ago!

Last year, I participated in three 10K races, which started with the Louis Vinkloop in March, in a time of 38 minutes and 52 seconds.

Followed by the Zomeravondcup in June, in a time of 38 minutes and 31 seconds.

After a short triathlon season and a debut on the Olympic triathlon distance, I wasn't sure what my form was.

Last year, the Sloterplasloop was the final race of the Rondje Mokum, a circuit of some local road races in Amsterdam, organized by the various athletics clubs.

Without specific 10K workouts, I managed to reach the finish in a season's best of 38 minutes and 22 seconds 🥳

This year, I will participate in the 90th edition of the @sloterplasloop, as part of my preparation on the @halvemarathongouda in November 💪👍
