Merry Christmas Eve day 🎄 Hope it’s a good one for everyone ❤️ Q: do you do gifting for Christmas? A: My family does exchange gifts, but I’m hearing from more and more people that they do secret Santas instead of buying gifts for everyone or just skip gifts altogether and while I love both giving and receiving gifts, I think this shift towards a more conscious and less materialistic Christmas is amazing! Would love to also try out gifting more handmade/second hand things next year! ✨

Happy Sunday! What is everyone doing this weekend? ✨ Yesterday we went to a theme park in Stockholm, since they were doing a winter wonderland theme, and it was so much fun!! 🎢❄️ Today we’re going to be celebrating pre-Christmas with my boyfriend, since both of us are leaving for actual Christmas, and I’m planning to make traditional Polish Christmas soup that we always eat on Christmas Eve, but that also means for me that I’ll be folding lots of dumpling without the help of my grandma for the very first time, so I hope I don’t mess it up haha! 🤞🏻 Wishing everyone a lovely weekend ❤️

Happy Sunday and happy December! 🎄 What is everyone reading this month? I’m currently finishing “I Am Half-Sick of Shadows” the 4th book in the Flavia de Luce series and it’s just perfect for this time of year! I think next I’ll be picking up “Winterhouse”, but I’m still looking to add more books to my December tbr, so I would love to hear your recs for festive books/books set in winter that are perfect to read next to the fire ❤️

Happy Sunday, friends! ❤️🎄 Have you started watching Christmas movies yet? What are your favorites? Mine would have to be The Holiday, Love Actually, Home Alone and Deck the Halls ✨

Happy Thanksgiving (to everyone who’s celebrating 🦃🥧). While obviously Thanksgiving isn’t a tradition in Europe, we still decided to treat ourselves to a festive dinner today (see my stories). I think it’s a nice time before the Christmas craziness really starts to come together and talk about what we’re thankful for in life, especially, since my boyfriend and I won’t be spending actual Christmas together ✨ So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, what are you thankful for? Personally, I’m thankful for finding a partner who I can trust and who supports me in all the ways he does. I’m also incredibly thankful for my family and friends who are my biggest cheerleaders. And lastly, I’m thankful for all the work I’ve put in in the last year, both academically and professionally, and for my optimistic approach to life. ❤️

Happy Monday, everyone! ❄️ We’re still enjoying the beautiful winter magic here in Stockholm - it’s been snowing the whole day! Makes you wanna curl up on the sofa with a good book and drink your hot beverage of choice ☕️ Do you have a favorite Christmassy drink (coffee order, hot cocoa, tea flavor, etc.)? Would love to try out some of them! 😍

Saturday things ❤️💐 • these photos were taken last Saturday. It was so warm and sunny that day and we just walked around a lot, basking in the sunshine and charging up our vitamin d batteries. ☀️ Fast forward one week, and as some of you might have seen in my stories from yesterday, we got so much snow yesterday! ❄️ If I wasn’t in a Christmassy mood already, I definitely am now! 🎄 Q: What’s the weather like where you are right now?

Hey friends! It’s mid-November, so I think I’ve waiting long enough and can finally start posting some Christmassy content on here. 🎄 I cannot wait for all the festive things to come, spending cozy evenings at home with hot cocoa, a Christmas movie on and the Christmas tree in the background.. it truly is the most wonderful time of the year! ❄️
