How is your goodreads reading challenge going? 📚✨

•

happy happy sunday, my loves !!

I really enjoy being able to set myself my own reading goals on goodreads, seeing my progress and looking back on all the books I’ve read at the end of the year!
But I also do understand that other people might feel a lot of pressure to achieve their reading goal and loose fun in reading throughout the year ✨😵‍💫.
Everyone has to find their own way and do, what works best for them - how do you handle the 2022 reading challenge?

Are you participating? I‘m exited to read about you opinions in the comments 💌!

By the way: I’m half way though reading “The love hypothesis” and it’s actually quite cute! The protagonists are a bit meh, but it’s a really light and fun read for sunnier days like today 🌸 <3.

Be a curator of your life. Slowly cut things out until you’re left only with what you love, with what’s necessary, with what makes you happy.. Nothing else matters

Cream bread ! 🥖
I've always wondered what's the true definition of content creation? Is it something that we do by following a herd or does it imply something that's born out of passion?
I won't lie, but sometimes I too tried really hard to keep up to that definition of 'Perfect' content/post/any sort of digital content let's say. And there's nothing wrong in trying or experimenting new but the question lies here. Do we really enjoy creating content in the quest of perfection?

In this picture for instance, its just a loaf of bread. But the peace and satisfaction that remains behind this shot is like a cherry on the cake. Isn't it? Creating content that ultimately makes us happy within, without worrying about the fact that- will it make to the top notch or not? is all that matters.

Just a random mid-week thought.

Throne of Glass appreciation post 🤩!
•

In my opinion, ToG is one of the most epic fantasy series to exist at the moment. I remember falling into a deep, deep reading slump after finishing “Kingdom of Ash”, the last book in October. I cried a lot during these last chapters (even at the public wellness area at our hotel, where I read it), meeting amazingly strong characters and then saying goodbye to them.
Thank you @therealsjmaas for writing a character like Aelin Galathynius, who became a true role model to me.

•

“The world,” Aelin said, “will be saved and remade by dreamers”
– Empire of Storms

•

I only can recommend “Throne of Glass” to you. I promise, you won’t regret a single page or hour spend reading (and do not be deterred by the number of books in the series or their thickness 🌝) 🌸🌌.
