Wheels but incredibly subtle.

If I ever do these again, I'm using AK markers😅 I remember way back seeing them and I still don't know if they were ever an actual product that Enkei sold🤣

I feel like I have a better grip on gapping now so they wont be so time consuming😮‍💨 It's been at leasssst 5 years since I did that one🤯 by @slowlysmodels

3d print, but one of my first files🥹

The AOE Enterprises Mario was the wheel that made me want to learn how to draw stuff up. I think this print (and an Enkei Apache) were the very first 3d prints of things I drew up and got my hands on... thanks to a very good friend who had an OG Anycubic Photon, and plenty of patient advice on helping me learn Sketchup🤣

This was right around the time I was becoming much more interested in older Japanese cars and the whole shakotan-ness of it all. Aoshima had repopped the 14inch stretchwall-tyre wheel sets not long before and I was just elbow-deep in a learning-about-a-new-to-me-thing mania of weird wheels.

God what a fun time!

Sometimes, pretty often actually, I worry there's nothing left to fervently inhale as far as learning about a new niche or scene or thing etc😮‍💨

That poor rubber kit tyre looks a little... tired🤣

Lowrider but another one😅

Really having a nice time prepping models for paint lately, pulled this 65 out to have a gander and a cheeky mockup on some @lowridermodelcarparts wheelzzzzz. Usually being inbetween projects is frustrating but this time it's pretty chill. I'd cut the boot lid out some time ago and wasn't too happy with the job I did, but it's fine I guess😅

Wanted to see if the 1:24 scale one would do 1:64 scale nicely.... kinnnnda worked? The intakes got messed up from handling. But they printed I swear!😤

More of a curiosity thing than anything else really.

Kenmeri but TV star😅

I've had this kit in my stash for 50 years now kinda half-started...

This build was inspired by a TV show introduced to me by THE @kitbuilderchris 🤌 It'll get weathered, mayyyyybe some silliness in the engine bay🤔 Along with another Kenmeri project I've got going, it'll be all this generation Skyline all the time at my bench😅😅
