Thank you @slowlysmodels for blessing me with this mini spray gun from the early 60’s. An treasure from the past early hobby history. This will be added to the model car culture museum collection.

A few pics from @diversified_scalerz_mcc this past Saturday.

I want thank everyone who made it to our event even with in-climate weather . We appreciate this wonderful modeling community who made a great effort to attend and support.

Special thanks to anyone who was involved to make this event possible. It’s a huge team effort from many individuals to make these shows possible. Thank you to our partners Tri State Scale Model Car, vendors, and friends and staff.

Shout out to my crew #DiversifiedScalerz who I’m very proud to call my close friends and family. My guys did an amazing job hosting this event and it was all hands on deck.

Also need to thank and acknowledge our friends who stepped up last minute to help make our Toyota Day Diorama possible. Thank you @armandoflores1032 for making the 7 Eleven building and fuel station. @slowlysmodels for designing the files to be able to print the detail pieces for the diorama and also Rudy @scale_custom_showcase for all the 3d printing. We couldn’t do it without you guys.

Hope everyone enjoyed the event as much as we did. Stay tuned for more coverage.

🇦🇺🇦🇺 Holden Torana 'Evil LJ' 🇦🇺🇦🇺

Time for the usual outdoor photos that I take of each finished project outside, but this time with a few in the sun, to show off that sparkly candy paint job

I can't say it enough, just how amazing and how much I really enjoyed this @ddacollectibles kit! And the flame paint job made easy by using the fantastic @lazymodeller flame masks! And the brilliant @proscale_models colours and clear looking fantastic as always!

But without @slowlysmodels being superbly awesome, I wouldn't of been able to enjoy this very project! Thanks dude

🇦🇺 Holden Torana 'Evil LJ' 🇦🇺

So I decided to start with the batch of photos on the display box in both the sun and shade, as there wasn't many photos of either.

But first of all, can we say, how awesome is this box that @ddacollectibles send their kits in, that doubles up as a lovely looking display piece! With enough room below the lid to safely store 3 builds, say if you wanted to transport them to a show or something (I wrapped two builds individually in my polishing microfiber cloths for transporting last night to the local club meet)

Again a massive thanks goes out to the following

@slowlysmodels for sending me the gear and being an awesome buddy
@proscale_models for the great looking paints, helping me bringing my works to life
@lazymodeller for creating amazing flame mask templates to make painting them an absolute breeze!

🇦🇺🇦🇺 Holden Torana 'Evil LJ' finished 🇦🇺🇦🇺

And here we have it, one finished @ddacollectibles @evil.lj Torana, which was kindly sent by @slowlysmodels along with the @lazymodeller flame mask set, so KC, dude, thank you so so much for being an awesome friend and hooking me up with such an awesome kit and flame masks, giving me the chance to work on something new, learn a few new things and try a whole new paint job!!

Normally, I only take photos of my finished builds outside in the shade, but due to the nature of this beautiful paint job using @proscale_models I just had to get photos in the sun and shade, and also on the box that doubles up as an awesome looking display piece!!

So over the next week I will be drip feeding each one of the sets of these photos, but which ones are you looking forward to seeing the most? On the display box in the sun or shade? Or on its own in the sun or shade?

Well after a crazy crazy crazy hot week last week here in the UK, I've managed to step back into the hobby room without instantly being vaporised!

So, it's time to make a start on this @ddacollectibles Holden Torana that @slowlysmodels kindly sent me, with simply sanding back any moulding lines and a quick key all over ready for priming when I get home from work tonight!

Not going to lie, I was sat looking at all the possible kind of jdm style wheels that would work on this, however this will be staying a 100% box stock so it can enter the respective box stock only competitions later this year!

I will have to get some more of these kits though because not only do they look like a they go together great, but I would love to give some a little jdm inspired twist... 👀👀

The @ironhorsehobbies sponsored build has completed!

Photos of the finished build coming very soon.

Big thank you to @ironhorsehobbies for providing me with everything needed to do this build from the model kits, paints, brushes, diorama accessories like the grass, flowers, stones and @slowlysmodels for designing up lots of the 3D printed items.
