As it seems more and more (elite) athletes are injuring themselves during marathon races than before, we're advising you to buy smart & look at the whole picture. Your picture. More efficient foams are not always resulting in better performances. (Half) Marathon records mostly broken by how efficient you can manage the fatigue in your body the first 35km at the fastest pace possible so you can survive the last 7km at a decent pace or even have the energy to accelerate. Choose shoes matching your feet, your gait, your performance and speed. If you don't have a clue. Ask for advice. That's what we are for @slowrunningeu to make sure fast & SLOW Runners can enjoy their runs to the fullest 🥳🎉

🌺🌸🤙Good luck to all athletes racing @ironmantri World Championship Hawaii this weekend.

Our founder @slowrunningeu raced this iconic triathlon back in 2011. A super hard race @dries.busselot made even more challenging with a TT-bike in 6 pieces, concussion & damaged shoulder due to a bike crash only 10hour before travelling to Hawaii.

Whatever the circumstances are and your goal may be, note that everybody is facing bumpy roads, bloody hot conditions, lots of headwind and mood swings to achieve his goal. Sometimes it's better to quit the goal and be happy with the journey instead of quitting the journey and keep the goal...

📸Sorry for the poor picture quality. Smartphones were not so sexy back in 2011
