hello world! a year ago I asked a bunch of friends if they would be down to cover songs from local sac bands for a charity compilation to benefit @norcal_resist.

I asked Ash at @rosa_mortem if she would be down to record live sessions and mix them, and @stylesmunson if he would master them. both of them, with infinite generosity, somehow said yes. thank you thank you thank you.

Of course we have some classic artwork from @datgrain, born of an abstract love of sacramento's art & music.

The release date is still pending (sooner rather than later) but starting today you can pre-order the comp & get @slugfeast_'s insane cover of "Love Collector" by @dogpatchtheband. link is in my bio 🫡

Though this compilation doesn't even begin to cover the vast diversity of genre and talent that exists across Sacramento's music scenes, the folks that agreed to do this truly made some incredible stuff, and I can't wait to share it!

ok love you,
