Scars and Muscle Function

Scar Tissue! Many of us have it due to surgeries, accidents/injuries. Why is this important? They directly affect the brain’s ability in activating muscles/muscle groups.

Myofascial release of scar tissue is imperative in getting the brain to let go of compensation patterns after the trauma (cut/surgery/wound).

PEMF ⚡️has been studied extensively and has been shown to accelerate the healing of injuries including wounds, joint pain, and tissue swelling.
PEMF has also been used in the improvement of depression and anxiety allowing you to be healthier, stronger, and perform better.
‼️Ecchymosis
Blood or bleeding under the skin due to trauma of any kind; typically black and blue at first, with color changes as healing progresses

⚡️First treatment was April 17th with Electron Plus with some light Swedish, graston technique. Main areas that were tender was the anterior tibiala, lateral. Second video is 30min into the session and you can see some of the blood move.

⚡️Second session was April 18th. Same thing mainly Electron Plus from below the knee to the toes. We can see that the bruising spread and looks slightly better.

Working the full arm-> chest. Deep tissue work + electron plus ( great way to warm up the muscles and loosen things up) follow up with cupping and scrapping if needed. ⚡️🙏🏽 prevents any major issues like tennis elbow, shoulder pain, or nerve impingement . First time getting a sports massage can be a little rough but it helps undoing all stress you inflict on your body. From working out, stress related, tightness… all that good stuff. Like any other treatment it’s best to get it consistently so your body can adapt to it!
