The other day I found almost 300 records in trash bags on the side of the road. Most of them don’t have their “sleeves” ? So I’m going to find ways to create with them. Hell I might even use them as plates… anything to save art from the land Feild. First design #candleholder #records #old-records #art #dumpsterdiving by @smashwright1

The Food …. The unopened non perishable food is what gets to me the most. This morning we couldn’t get the food fast enough so we stood watching it be poured into the trash truck from a dumpster. The saddest thing there’s a homeless camp within shouting distance from where this happened… #shame #homeless #waste #overconsumption . I’m getting to a place recently where I don’t know how to answer kindly when people look at me and say, “Why do you do that getting in the trash, dumpster diving, picking up stuff off the side of the road. My question is why aren’t y’all? by @smashwright1

It’s always sad to see how apartments treat their tenants in the older, smaller places. This place is at the end of a road tucked off. Their dumpster is always horrific. Trash everywhere but in the dumpster. The smell !! There’s small children that play here …. Jael and I set up something sweet out of the “Trash” we cleaned up for the tenants 💜 by @smashwright1
