THIS is the kind of extracurricular activity our kids NEED! 🔨👏

Imagine your child learning how to fix things around the house instead of always having to call someone!

Well, COME ON! We got a chance to check out Junior Handyman Academy, where kids are learning everything from using tools and building to plumbing and home repairs. They even learned how to install a TOILET! 🚽 🛠️

And that’s just ONE of the many hands-on programs they offer!

This is bigger than just another activity. They’re teaching confidence, independence, and real-life skills our kids can use forever!

I WAS TRYING TO LOSE SOME POUNDS, NOT MY DAMN EYESIGHT! 😭💀

Two months into my GLP-1 journey, I started noticing changes in my body. Some were good, but the bad definitely outweighed the good!

And don’t get me wrong… THAT MEDICATION WORKS! But baby, I had to choose my health over those pounds!

I’ve seen my doctor and an eye doctor. Thankfully, nothing wrong has been found with my eyes so far, but I still have more tests to do.

I stopped cold turkey, and adjusting has been a whole experience of its own!

Everybody’s body is different. I’m sharing my experience because somebody else might be ignoring the warning signs their body is giving them. Please speak to your doctor if something doesn’t feel right!

NEW JERSEY!! $200 FOR BRAIDS THIS LONG?! AND I WAS OUT IN UNDER 5 HOURS?! 👀🔥

Listen, sometimes we get so caught up being moms, wives, and taking care of EVERYBODY else that we forget to pour back into ourselves.

And sometimes getting yourself back starts right at the top… YOUR CROWN! 👑

When I tell y’all Yasmin’s Beauty Salon in East Orange, NJ brought this mama BACK!! I mean just that!

I wanted my braids LONGGG! Not just down my back. I needed them touching the middle of what my mama gave me, so I could SWINGGG them! 😂 And baby, they understood the assignment!

Shout out to my girl Zuri for telling me about @yasminsbeautysalonllc

The ladies were so sweet, everybody made me feel comfortable, they had water, juice, and chips, and I was in and out in less than FIVE HOURS with all this hair!

And the price?! $200! Y’all know what some places are charging for braids these days!

WAIT… why did nobody tell me this was hiding in Cherry Hill?! 😍

This was our first time at Toscana and this little 15-second video does NOT do it justice.

The atmosphere? Beautiful.
The food? So good.
And everyone we came across was genuinely so nice.

We only got a little taste of Toscana this time, but we’re already planning our next visit because there is way too much on that menu we still need to try.

NJ parents, this is one indoor spot you need to know about.

We went back to Ocean Park Indoor Playground in Burlington, New Jersey and they’ve added even more since our last visit.

Has slides, basketball, interactive games, arcade games, a toddler area and plenty for bigger kids too. The boys had a TIME and everything was nice and clean.

Week 2 and we made a little more progress 🥹😂
He still wanted to turn around and come back to me, but he got back up and kept going. And listen… he made it to the blue this time, so I’m counting that as a win.
Meanwhile I’m realizing I definitely need to invest in some sports bras because this little running series got ME out here jogging too 😂

Y’all… Austin had ONE job: RUN FORWARD. 😂

This was Austin’s first race of 2026, and I definitely think we’re making progress!

He took off in the lead, looking like he knew exactly what he was doing… then all of a sudden, he turned around and came right back to me. 😭😂

He did the same thing last year with Gerard , except last year he barely moved before the tears started. This year, he made it a little farther before deciding, “Yeah… I’m going back to my mama.” 😂

Then I had to start running too, and just so we’re clear… I AM NOT A JOGGER. This little boy has me outside getting cardio I never asked for. 😂

But progress is progress! He went farther than he did last year, and this year we are finishing this race series!

I can’t wait to show y’all his progress every week because at this point, we’re training Austin AND me. 😂🏃🏽‍♀️

Race 1… we’ll take it! Today is actually week three but it’s been raining so I don’t know if it will be postponed so I’ll make sure the post week two this evening or tomorrow. 😂 by @smileybee1986

Okay so how do y’all think they did? 😂
Here’s part 2 and the finished French toast. I think it came out pretty good especially for them doing most of it themselves 😂 and of course they had to taste it when they were done.

Cooking with kids definitely takes a little extra patience 😂 but it’s all love. Especially if they’re learning.

Today we’re making French toast 🍞

Can y’all help us out? What should we make next? Give us an EASY meal your kids love because we need some ideas and we might make yours next.

I tried to cut this video down but I couldn’t 😂 so y’all are getting the whole 5 minutes of us in the kitchen.
