NJ parents, this is one indoor spot you need to know about.

We went back to Ocean Park Indoor Playground in Burlington, New Jersey and they’ve added even more since our last visit.
@oceanparknj
Has slides, basketball, interactive games, arcade games, a toddler area and plenty for bigger kids too. The boys had a TIME and everything was nice and clean.

Ocean Park Indoor Playground & Cafe
2514 Mt Holly Rd, Burlington, NJ
Open 7 days a week

They’re always running different specials, so check before you go and tell them The Green Family sent you.

Which part would your kids run to first?

Save this for your next family day out, send it to another NJ parent, and follow @The_GreenFam for more family-friendly places around New Jersey.

Week 2 and we made a little more progress 🥹😂
He still wanted to turn around and come back to me, but he got back up and kept going. And listen… he made it to the blue this time, so I’m counting that as a win.
Meanwhile I’m realizing I definitely need to invest in some sports bras because this little running series got ME out here jogging too 😂
Can’t wait to see how much more he does each week. 💙

Y’all… Austin had ONE job: RUN FORWARD. 😂

This was Austin’s first race of 2026, and I definitely think we’re making progress!

He took off in the lead, looking like he knew exactly what he was doing… then all of a sudden, he turned around and came right back to me. 😭😂

He did the same thing last year with Gerard , except last year he barely moved before the tears started. This year, he made it a little farther before deciding, “Yeah… I’m going back to my mama.” 😂

Then I had to start running too, and just so we’re clear… I AM NOT A JOGGER. This little boy has me outside getting cardio I never asked for. 😂

But progress is progress! He went farther than he did last year, and this year we are finishing this race series!

I can’t wait to show y’all his progress every week because at this point, we’re training Austin AND me. 😂🏃🏽‍♀️

Race 1… we’ll take it! Today is actually week three but it’s been raining so I don’t know if it will be postponed so I’ll make sure the post week two this evening or tomorrow. 😂

If your kids aren’t in swim lessons yet… THIS is your sign. 🏊🏽‍♂️💙

It’s so much bigger than learning how to swim. The confidence. The independence. The sensory growth. The progress. THAT’S why we keep our boys in the water.

Week 1 of Healthy Kids Running Series 🏃🏾‍♂️😂

Him: “It’s too hard.”
Me: “Nothing is too hard. We’re gonna finish.”
Me: “But you finished this time! Don’t you feel good?”
Him: “No.” 😭😂

And that was the end of that conversation.

But I’m still proud of my baby! Last year he only made it a few steps. This year he made it halfway… AND may I add, my boy was in the lead at first! 😂👏🏾

We’re celebrating the progress, not just the finish line.

This is only week one, so I’m definitely doing this Q&A again in a few weeks because I have a feeling his answers might be a little different. 😂

For now… participation still gets celebrated over here. 🏅

Homeschool moms and the moms thinking about it… come to the front 😂

Because whew, I was doing WAY too much.

Miacademy has taken so much pressure off me AND Hudson actually enjoys it. He can learn at his own pace, earn coins, get pets and build his own little world while he’s learning.

Meanwhile, I can track his progress without trying to create everything myself. Win win 😂

Have questions about Miacademy or homeschooling? Ask me! Supports K-12 with @miacademylearning / @miaprep

Feel free to reach out.

So , what happened at school?

Why do I feel like he told me the story…but left out some VERY important details 😂 because now I definitely need to talk to his teacher.

His speech has gotten so much better! We’ve been working overtime on his letter sounds, words and getting him to slow down when he talks. We have an appointment to get him back into speech therapy too ( unfortunately we had to take him out ) because baby, I need ALL the tea 😂

I understand , but I just know there’s more to this story 😂

Also I need to put him in some boxing / martial art classes something because this ain’t it .

For the last month, we’ve been intentional about working on the alphabet and letter sounds because our next big goal is learning to read. 📚
Dad @gerard2esq took over teaching for a little bit, and they worked through the alphabet and sounds together. Then they finished up with a little life skills lesson helping with the dishes.

Once he has his letter sounds down, our next step is putting those sounds in together and working on small words.

We’re taking our time, building the foundation first, and letting him learn at his own pace.

We’d also love to partner with reading programs like @starfalleducation and @hookedonphonics as we document this next stage of his learning journey while he transitions from daycare to homeschool . ❤️

If your kid is LEGO obsessed, you might want to save this one. 🧱

We stopped by Lou’s Brick Shop in Marlton, NJ, and Hudson was READY to look through everything. 😂
This isn’t just shelves of LEGO sets. They have new and pre-owned sets, minifigures, hard-to-find pieces, and a huge table filled with individual LEGO pieces you can look through and choose yourself.

Missing pieces from a set? Looking for a certain color? Or have a kid who just likes building whatever comes to mind? That table alone is worth checking out.

Lou is also incredibly knowledgeable, so if you’re looking for something specific, definitely ask.

Save this one for your LEGO kid and tell me, would your kid go for the sets or straight to the loose LEGO table?

Parents!!! Add this one to your “where am I taking these kids today?” list. 😂

We finally checked out the new playground at Evesboro Downs Park in Marlton and my son was into EVERYTHING.

Big play area.
Swings.
Sensory stuff.
Music areas.
A section for the little ones.

And yes… SHADE. 😂
Because some playgrounds really have the parents out there fighting for our lives in the sun.
