🍦 🥓 🎡 The Great Minnesota Get Together 🎡 🥓 🍦

The state fair is always one of my very favorite times of the year, and running into friends from EVERY area of life is the absolute best part 💛

Thanks to everyone who came to visit at Big Fat Bacon! And, to everyone who showed up for line dance lessons and street dancing at the Cosgrove Stage!🤠

A few years ago, we decided that the best way to survive MN winters was to create intentional plans to look forward to all throughout the snowy months ❄️ … thus began Girls Weekend!! This year we had the coziest 400 ft.² you could imagine… plus an accomplishment cake, 2026 goal setting, crafts, and the sweetest friends 🤍 by @smithmaryka

You guys, I just had my first (two!!) home sales this weekend! 🎉

What an incredible gift to even be a small part of the journey of each sweet family as they begin their next chapter at their new homes.

Embarking on a new career at this stage in my life has not been easy, but now that momentum is picking up I’m really feeling like this is exactly where I’m supposed to be. 💖 by @smithmaryka

Okayyy… had to make just ONE MORE recital post because I’m still so in awe of the beauty that took place this weekend! This year, CDA had a record ✨ 430 ✨ dancers performing in our six recitals, and I personally taught 172 of them this season! So much growth, and so many personal victories for dancers, families, and staff members. I am beyond proud of each dancer and staff member who gave their all this recital season! by @smithmaryka

The Smith family’s busiest weekend of the year was a major success!

•6 dance recitals (Madi was in FOUR!)
•6 ultimate frisbee state tournament games (Madi’s team took 3rd in state!)
•Madi’s last chapel on the school worship team
•Avery’s Karate promotion earning his green stripe on his yellow belt
•Avery caught his first fish!

All in one weekend! My heart is filled with gratitude for all of the family and friends who showed up for us this weekend - driving and feeding my kids and coming to their special events. My village showed up in a BIG way and I’m beyond thankful ❤️ by @smithmaryka
