🇯🇲❤️💛💚 CONGRATULATIONS EARL “CHINNA” SMITH for receiving the ORDER OF DISTINCTION! ❤️💛💚🇯🇲

I could not be more proud or more happy to celebrate my bredren, the legendary Earl “Chinna” Smith, on being awarded Jamaica’s Order of Distinction. 🏅🇯🇲

For decades, Chinna’s guitar has helped create the soundtrack of Jamaica and Reggae Music . His unmistakable sound has touched countless recordings, stages and lives around the world! Chinna and his best friend always carrying the heart, soul and spirit of reggae music.

Those of us who know Chinna know that behind the legendary musician is a man who has given his entire life to the music he loves. No chasing fame. No pretending. Just authenticity, dedication, Rastafari, and MUSIC. 🎸❤️ This recognition is so richly deserved and long overdue.

Chinna!!!! I am SO proud of you. To see Jamaica honor your lifetime contribution to its music and culture fills my heart with joy. by @smithmelchizedek
