My album ORACLE is finally out! I'm super excited and proud of it. It has its imperfections and rough edges, but it is 100% mine.

2011 was the last time I released music and I was going through a really erratic time in my life. I went from being in garage-rock bands in high school to making experimental music, and then eventually becoming a "rapper". I was obsessed with making music and performing live. It was all I'd dream about and one day, it just stopped.

It took a long, long time, but the inspiration, drive and passion came back to me. I'm so thankful to be alive and to be able to make music again. Every single fiber of my being is a part of this project.

I want to thank @xedout for always encouraging me and for loving me for who I am. I want to thank all my friends and family, especially the ones who'd ask me about my music. Lastly, I want to thank all the amazing artists who are pushing music forward rn. I am so deeply inspired atm.

PS The whole point of the Smoke Crack (now sc2099) project was always anonymity. The music/art may be personal, but it isn't necessarily about "me".

That being said, the album cover is a photo of my dog Scruffy. She passed away on October of last year. She was a stray and from the moment she came into our lives, she became family. We spent over 10 years with her and she was the sweetest, most loving pup. I was with her when she passed and that moment will live with me forever. The tenderness she represented will live on in my music forever.

Here is a mini album sampler of Odyssey, mainly beats/instrumental segments. I think I said I was done with it around March, but the time is finally here. I put everything I have into it. It has some highs, lows and everything in between.

Ultimately, it is a sequel and companion to Oracle, but it improves on the concepts of that record in every single way IMO. I poured my heart into this thing and worked hard in order to get it where I knew I could.

I'm finally moving into the mixing/EQ/mastering stage. I never envisioned myself as a producer/song-writer/composer etc., but I deeply needed to get these sounds out of my head (and NO ONE was going to do it for me).

There are imperfections and limitations to my novice musical abilities, but I'm proud of what I've accomplished. I know every single day I'll improve, as an artist and human being.

We were able to camp at Yosemite National Park a few weeks ago, our first time back in 8 years. It is by far one of the greatest, most breathtaking places on planet earth. If you get an opportunity to visit, do it!
