The back of my kindle vs the front of my kindle. 😍

currently reading an ARC of This Is How You Lie by @paperfury 🫶🏻
I’m 20% and I’m already trying to guess WTF is going on here. I fully expect to be completely wrong in the end.

the back of my kindle is an insert I made using pokemon cards, a stamp cutter and a Yamper keychain I made 🥰 by @smutty_queen

My August book haul 🥰

Thank you @wednesdaybooks and @podiumentertainment for spoiling me with these great books!!!

I will be starting Immortal Game next since I’m on an immortal kick apparently. These Immortal Truths was SO GOOD! Currently reading the sequel (as well as a caveman romance but we’ll get to that later.)

Also @covetedcover nailed it with this Pam Godwin series holy shit.

Okay bye! by @smutty_queen

Energy… Power… My people are addicted to it.

This book changed my life. I read it last July and immediately reentered the nostalgia I missed… just in time for The Burning Crusade.

If none of that made sense to you, you probably won’t understand this book either (and that’s okay!!)

This one’s for the nerds. The people who found their closest friends online at 4 am on a school day, running the coasts of Dustwallow Marsh, getting slaughtered by dragons. This book is for the ones who trolled the sweat guilds using soundboards on ventrillo. This book is for the ones who never felt understood until they met the people of Azeroth.

I can’t tag the author but I’ll pretend I can. Alexis Hall thank you for writing this book! Because of you, I’m back in the Outlands and have met people I’ll love forever. 🫶🏻 by @smutty_queen

Bridget & Gabe Are Not Okay!

This book just came out yesterday and what a nice surprise to find it on my porch after work!!! I just got the hardcover for Gwen & Art Are Not In Love last month and have been dying to read it. I now own 3 @lexcanroar Croucher books and I’m pumped to get to readin!! They just have the coolest vibes and they’re besties with CMQ?! Fuck yeah.

Alice Oseman calls this a “historical romp with queer panic”

C S Pacat calls it “queer Camelot”

So basically I’m all in.

Thank you @wednesdaybooks for the package!!!! by @smutty_queen

Thank you so much @kensingtonbooks 🫶🏻 you guys don’t even KNOW the amount of people I’ve forced / encouraged to read this book. It’s probably the number one book I’ve ever reread. IYKYK. It’s just one of THOSE reads. You gotta experience it. I get SO ANGRY when people leave The Dare off of their Loser reads or special editions. 😤 It is a STAPLE. A MUST. It is book one imo. Not reading The Dare but reading Losers is like reading a series and starting at book two. Who does that?! Anyway if you haven’t read this and you need a quick smutty read that will also change your life, pls read. This shiny cover is gorgeous and discreet and just PERF. 10/10. 😇😇😇😇😇😇 by @smutty_queen

June book haul!

LPM: strategically placed bookplate. I love the quality of this bookbox, love the art style, but i did cancel my sub this month. I just can’t put up with waiting a million years for books anymore.
Here’s all of them together. 😍 Still waiting on 2 books I think?

Lovestory Society: very excited to read Dearly Departed but I canceled this subscription too. very affordable, comes in a timely manner. most of them aren’t my style though.

So excited to read my first Lex Croucher!

Moonlight book box is incredible. Comes every month, the BEST quality. The pageoverlay is already placed where it’s supposed to go. (that little detail makes me so happy lol.)

The Book of Azrael series also came from them!

Last and certainly least is Fairyloot. I caved and accepted the adult + romantacy sub waitlist email out of fomo. am I their biggest hater? yes. did I skip the next month bc fairyloot is pro-maga? yes. do I think that’s enough? fuck no. im still giving them money. and i deserve to be slapped in the face. am I a hypocritical lil bitch? yes. anyway fuck fairyloot. ive canceled 3 times so probably wont keep this sub long but well see. by @smutty_queen

May book haul 🔮

I let a certain 2 somebodies talk me into buying The Raven Boys set and I cannot get into this first book. I’m so bored. Help. (I’m not even 100 pages in so I’m hoping this changes.)

These same 2 people love a certain red and blue book I despise so I’m not sure what I was thinking. (I’m just kidding lol I love you guys so much 😘) @valentineslibrary @thebougiebookbabe

I bought Princeweaver and I’m SUPER EXCITED - the most excited - for this one!!
Yesteryear also sounded hilarious (but apparently has a quite surprising and shocking ending?)

Metalslinger edition from Moonlight. This book was bizarre af. I swear the author thought up the ending after finishing 90% of the book, threw in this new ending and didn’t go back and add any foreshadowing lol.

I received my Sierra Simone paperback kickstarter! 🥰 I love the peep window covers so much. Don’t worry, they’re sending me a replacement for how dinged up Priest got in transit. by @smutty_queen
