Next up, we’ve got @brooksgurunyc from @brooksrunning back in Denville this Saturday 10/10!

Dana will bring Brooks shoe demos that you can take on our run or for a walk (take them to go shop or walk your dog!). She is incredibly knowledgeable about shoes and finding the right fit. Whether you’re preparing for your next race, new to running, or walking, she can help you.

Our focus for this event is to find the right shoe for you, so we’ve invited Kessler Rehab to join us as well. They will be bringing their foot mapping plates to truly measure your foot and arch. This is really cool technology that is beneficial to runners and walkers alike. Can’t make it to the run at 9? They’ll be staying with us in the store through noon for those that still want to get their feet mapped.

Group run with @brooksgurunyc and @kesslerrehabilitationcenter this morning!

We demoed the new @brooksrunning Ghost Amp and Glycerin 23 for 4 miles around Cedar Lake. Kessler brought the team to show us their pressure plates. It allowed us to see how our feet pronate or supinate, our balance in and out of shoes, and how we respond to high cushion. These are great to not only make a smarter shoe purchasing decision, but shows if you are weak on either side to train smarter for a more stable body while mitigating injury. Cool tech! These are able to be utilized at your local Kessler Rehab, so reach out to them to put them to use!

The @hoka Arahi 9 has landed at Sneaker Factory!!

Utilizing Hoka’s H-Frame support system, the Arahi is the more stable cousin to the Clifton 11. For this year, it gets similar iterative updates as well. It gets a cooler, more breathable upper and the compression molded EVA midsole feels a touch softer. Stack height is 39mm in the heel and 31mm in the forefoot for an 8mm drop.

What we love about the Arahi has always been its ability to offer that extra structure and stability without being overcorrective. It’s one of the lightest stability shoes on the market as well weighing under 10oz (M9). For mild to moderate over pronators, the Arahi is an excellent option for smooth, stable miles.

What a morning @pinkwitches5k 💗🧙💗🧙

If today didn’t show that Denville is a running town, I truly don’t know what will. Seeing so many friends, familiar faces, and other businesses come together around running for an amazing cause like @pinkwitchesnightout makes us so happy. This place is truly special.

Congratulations to all of the finishers and everyone who earned their medals. We were very proud to see so many familiar faces and friends with medals around their necks. You all rock.

Running is so powerful. Running is community. We highly recommend it.

The @mizunorunningusa Sky Prime and Neo Vista 3 are both very good shoes. Both are max cushion. Both are $200. But, they differ quite a bit.

Are you taking the performance focused Neo Vista 3 or the floaty, forget you’re even on tarmac Sky Prime?

The @mizunorunningusa Sky Prime is in for testing!

And you can try it too. We’ll be hosting @riley_hennessy_ from Mizuno on October 3rd from our Denville store to demo the Sky Prime and other Mizuno models. Come for a run, talk shoes, and maybe have an impromptu book club. More details to come soon.

The Sky Prime is Mizuno’s new premium cushion trainer. Built on a 47mm dual foam platform, the Prime brings surprising performance in a wide, stable package. The top layer of the midsole gets a new bouncy PEBA blend ENERZY NXT+ foam. The bottom layer gets standard ENERZY NXT, a supercritical EVA known for stability and impact protection (and a surprisingly fun ride, in my experience.) Up top is a comfort-focused plush upper with a stretchy knit tongue that holds the foot perfectly. Underneath, is Mizuno’s tough-as-nails X10 rubber.

It sounds like a recipe for success and first try on is shockingly comfortable. Full review with more miles!
