Yvonne and I started with nothing but each other, a few dreams, and the determination to make something of our lives. For over 35 years, we’ve faced challenges that sometimes seemed impossible, taken risks, made sacrifices, and kept reaching higher, even when the odds were stacked against us.
Life has tested us in ways we never imagined, but through every high and low, we’ve continued climbing together.

We’ve learned that the greatest accomplishments aren’t always measured by how high you climb, but by WHO IS STILL BESIDE YOU WHEN YOU GET THERE.❤️ by @snowmaker55

Who’s the person in Walworth County who hears a crazy idea and says, “I can build that”?

I’m Dieter Sturm with Sturm’s Special Effects, and I’m looking for an inventor-minded fabricator with their own shop in Walworth County—someone who can weld, work through mechanical challenges, and turn a sketch into something that actually works.

If you love building unusual machines, solving problems, and figuring out how to make the impossible possible, let’s talk. After 40+ years creating movie special effects, I still have a few ideas that need to escape the drawing board!

Is this you—or did someone immediately come to mind? Tag them below, share this post, or send me a DM. Sometimes the best builder is the talented person quietly making amazing things in a shop down the road. by @snowmaker55

Been having some fun with graphic design lately!
Here's a new promotional piece I've been working on for WaterSculpt Snow Batting, a product I developed for creating realistic snow environments without actually making snow. After 40+ years in the special effects business, it's been fun combining my production experience with today's AI creative tools to bring some fresh marketing ideas to life.
Still creating, still experimenting, and still having fun doing it!
