Today marks 17 years since I gave birth to our first child, A’Nia! 💕

As she was being formed in my womb, she was already called to live on purpose. Her name, rooted in Swahili and meaning purpose, serves as a daily reminder of who she is and what keeps her grounded as she navigates life.

It’s 19 years of life in the fast lane💨♥️

19 years, and I can honestly say there has not been a dull or boring moment. Plenty of twists and turns, obstacles to overcome, excitement, joy, unexpected setbacks, and several wins! In the words of our wedding program:

“And the two shall become one
Who could ask for more?
A soul mate by my side
A friend to laugh with
A lover to hold
Eyes to gaze into
Lips to kiss
A hand to hold
A partner to pray with
A family to build
We couldn’t ask for more”
