POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Next week, our girl @hollyterry__ launches her first ever collection of hand knotted, silk rugs!

Repost: When I first started a conversation with @zouzou__rugs I knew they’d be the perfect partner for this project. I initially created the works on canvas, which were then masterfully produced into two hand-knotted silk rugs by @zouzou___rugs alongside their artisan partners under the GoodWeave and Care & Fair programs.

The collection brings together art, material and traditional craftsmanship, reflecting a shared commitment to considered and responsible production.

Seeing my work take shape as a rug has been such an incredible process. A dream partner @zouzou___rugs 💌

These are majorly limited editions. There will only be four of each rug available (8 total!) at hollyterry.com from 15 October. by @soa.stateof.art

Our gals have been busy! @hollyterry__ latest body of work Very Serious Business launched last week!

Work pictured is STUDIO STILL LIFE #2

One of three works that came from a very large stretch of canvas, a study of my home studio. These works feel like a shift in my practice, featuring more representational elements like my favourite @ikea yellow desk chair, my @worn.store hand doorstop, my @panpottery moon vase and my @racheldonath_ ottoman.
I love this move towards blending abstraction and representation, something that’s challenged me a lot in the past. by @soa.stateof.art

We have a new addition to our studio !!!! Meet the lovely Brit, @britt_van_leeuwen @mulia.arts 🌱Brit has the most smiley warm and infectious energy we are SO excited to have her ❤️. “Hi, I’m Britt!
A Dutch girl who landed in Australia three years ago and chose to build a life around art.
I paint with watercolour and acrylics, inspired by my travels, tropical places, and anything ocean-related. I also create murals from time to time and have my own collection of art prints and postcards.
Now that I’ve joined this beautiful studio, I’m excited to experiment, explore new ideas, and grow creatively.🦋🩵
Outside the studio, you’ll find me boxing, doing pottery, painting in the sun, drinking coffees, or hanging out at the beach “ ;) 🌞 by @soa.stateof.art
