Another great Mad River Outfitters trip in the books! We had an awesome time hosting this years group here at Soaring Eagle Lodge. Sam made sure to finish things off in style with this beautiful rainbow alongside guide Nathaniel Jaquez! Thanks to everyone who made the trip out.

Brother Bill getting in on the action! When he’s not helping to keep things running at Soaring Eagle Lodge, he’s out enjoying the San Juan himself. Safe to say the river treated him pretty well!

It was definitely a great trip for this young man! Our guest Xavier Suchey came to play and showed us his mad skills catching big fish from the beginning of the day until the end. Great work!!!!

Every year, we’re honored to welcome the Platte Rivers Veterans Fly Fishing group back to Soaring Eagle Lodge. This annual tradition brings veterans from across the country together to experience the San Juan River and create lifelong memories. This year, we had the privilege of hosting the United States Marines. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and all you’ve done for our country. It was an incredible couple days on the water. 🇺🇸
