The World Cup’s done, the dust has settled on the final, and this series closes with it. The playlist drops tomorrow though to sub out national anthems and screen time for late night listening and stream time…

Group L is England, Croatia, Ghana, Panama and the whole thing wraps up here. 48 countries, 192 artists you’re probably not hearing enough of.

England’s Amie Blu and Nia Smith bring alt-R&B and soul depth, Caldo goes rap/drill, Dayo Bello closes it in R&B/soul too (four very different rooms in one country).

Croatia’s Grše and Zembo Latifa hold down hip-hop/trap, Filip Rudan brings pop/indie rock, ZHIVA alt-pop/electronica scene that’s louder than most people realise.

Ghana’s stacked: Amaarae’s Afrobeats-R&B, Juls’s Afrobeats production, Ria Boss’s neo-soul, SuperJazzClub’s Afro indie — one of the deepest lineups in the whole series.

And Panama closes the tournament out with Yael Santé and Lauren Henderson in neo-soul/jazz, Ravyn Lenae in alt-R&B, Boza in Latin urban/reggaeton.

The World Cup’s over, but the music doesn’t have to be.

Link will go live in the bio TOMORROW for the full 48-country, 192-artist playlist, built to keep you discovering long after the final whistle. Go explore the sound of every nation that played.

Thanks for following the whole run…this one was fun to build and everyone’s a winner 🏆

Group K’s representatives have been gone for a minute in Portugal, DR Congo, Uzbekistan and Colombia. But every one of them is holding out on music you’ve probably never heard.

Sasha Keable makes the grade for Columbia because let’s be honest, you can never hear enough of her 🤷

Also making the grade, Portugal’s Soraia Ramos and Lhast mix R&B and Afrobeats-hip-hop; Capitão Fausto brings indie rock, Nessa May Afrobeats-pop. DR Congo stacks four different lanes: Ya Levis’s Afrobeats, Tamera’s neo-soul, Jordan Mackampa’s alt-pop, Rebo’s urban pop. Uzbekistan might be the deepest cut here: Laylo, Rayhon, Ruhsora Emm and Sabina Mustaeva, out of a scene almost nobody’s tracking. And for the other Colombia selects we have Briela Ojeda’s indie-folk, Lee Eye and N. Hardem’s trap.

Who’s standing out?

@soraiaramoss @lhast21 @capitaofausto @thisisnessamay @yalevisdalwear @tamera jordanmackampa @rebo_tchulo @imlaylo @ruhsoraemm @sabina_mustaeva @brielaojeda @leeeyebitchhh @n.hardem @sashakeable @rayhonganieva
