The paid off djs are easy to spot.
They don’t ask. They don’t read the crowd. They stay quiet and then say “this is the #1 tune” before they play their agenda. I stand up and watch a DJ play a song 3 times, no one jumped but he still calling #RoadMarch. Thankfully the next truck in the band played 3 songs, 3 times each… read the crowd and then chose the song I said was a fete tune.
I hope the people decide.
That is the only thing. Let #goodmusic lead.
Some holding people back from the song the band loved straight through on the road and then switch on stage. How many zeros did you get?
Anyhow. I am a #soca fan. Not either or.
I am a #musicologist.
But it was gross to watch the DJ agenda in action.
Let the masqueraders decide!

in my opinion, get that off my chest
