Discovered a new adventure today, courtesy of SECRET MOVIE CLUB…trekked along the LA Metro to Broadway to see a 35mm print of “Raiders of the Lost Ark” at the Million Dollar Theater. This film brings me back to my roots and is still one of the inspirations for my rollercoaster career. Nice being among 600 strangers in an old timey movie theater watching a classic blockbuster together. Most of the crowd are here to celebrate the first 3 Indiana Jones films for a Father’s Day marathon. Thanks SMC, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Harrison Ford and John Williams for a reason to find our way back into the comfort and thrills of the cinema. It is where I find community. by @socialalien87

It’s my birthday, and I received a pic today from an old cherished friend, of a moment a few years ago. Today is a marker, of birth and rebirth, of passing on and renewing the Self. Celebrating today, feeling weird and joyful all at once. Happy birthday 🎂 happy renewal by @socialalien87

Hanging with my Pop at the closing of The Brass Door, a 70-year-old steak house that has had a storied history in the tri-valley. Celebrating the spirit of holidays with people who remember the good times and who still want to create more of them. Wishing you all a spirited season. by @socialalien87
