WE DID IT.

$53,928 raised. Because of YOU.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate 6 years of Social Creatures, and to everyone who donated, shared the event, bought merch, bid on bottles, or supported from afar.

For a nonprofit built around the idea that connection matters, it meant everything to spend the afternoon in a backyard full of people who genuinely care about this work.

Huge thank you to @rudemouthbk for hosting us, @meettheedge for our new look, our Paris sommelier friends for the incredible bottles, and everyone who helped make the day what it was.

We celebrated 6 years the best way we know how: surrounded by really good people.

This weekend’s fundraiser was everything we hoped it would be. A full backyard, real connection, and a lot of people who care about making the world less lonely.

Still riding the high.

If you couldn’t make it, there’s still time to be part of it:

Every donation made before midnight Monday will be matched dollar for dollar.

→ $25 becomes $50
→ $50 becomes $100

All of it goes directly to Social Creatures and our work to make connection more accessible.

Donate via link in bio.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, raised a glass, and made it what it was.

This only works because of you. by @socialcreaturesorg

This Sunday, Social Creatures turns 6.
And we’re celebrating the way we know best—bringing people together, with our friends at @rudemouthbk

Join us on 4/26 from 3–7 PM in the backyard at Rude Mouth (Williamsburg) for:

• Backyard hangs
• A silent auction of rare bottles from our Paris sommelier friends
• The launch of our rebrand (with merch you can take home)
• A backyard full of people you’ll be glad you met

No programs. No speeches. Just a really good Sunday.

✨First 25 guests to arrive at 3 PM get a free limited-edition Social Creatures tote

15% of backyard bar sales support Social Creatures and our work to address loneliness, isolation, and social exclusion.

This event is open to the general public.
Come by, bring a friend, and stay a while.

RSVP (free) via link in bio.
Would love to see you there. taken in New York City by @socialcreaturesorg

We recently hosted our first annual SitGrit Gritty Awards! More than 50 SitGritters came together to celebrate the inclusive fitness and community that define our SitGrit program, honoring members and instructors who make this space what it is.

It was a powerful reminder that inclusive movement isn’t just about physical health, but also about belonging, celebration, and showing up for one another.

We recently attended the American Heart Association’s Impact with Heart Welcome Reception in New York City, gathering with fellow Social Impact Fund grantees and partners advancing health equity across the country.

We were grateful to connect with AHA leaders and supporters, including Liz Elting, whose investment through the AHA Social Impact Funds directly supports Bonded by Baby and SitGrit. We’re deeply thankful to the American Heart Association for recognizing social connection as a critical driver of heart, brain, and overall health.

If you haven't already, check out our 2025 Impact Report!!

Last year, we expanded our social health programs like Bonded by Baby and SitGrit, deepened our research and advocacy work, and reached tens of thousands with evidence-based insights on social connection.

None of this is possible without a community that believes connection belongs at the center of health. Thank you for being part of it.

We’re excited to share that Social Creatures has been selected to join New Profit’s inaugural Alumni Lab Catalyze Cohort! Social Creatures is one of 12 organizations to be awarded $50,000 in unrestricted funding and advisory support from New Profit.

This opportunity provides flexible funding and a powerful peer community to help organizations like ours continue advancing innovative, community-driven solutions.

Last week, we gathered in Atlanta with inspiring leaders from across the country who are working to strengthen communities and expand opportunity. We’re honored to be part of this cohort and look forward to what we’ll build together.

“SitGrit changed my life. I feel less lonely.”

For many members, SitGrit isn’t just a workout.
It’s a community. A support system. A place to belong.

Inspired by the spirit of the Paralympic Games, we’re raising funds to keep adaptive fitness programs accessible for people with disabilities.

Help us continue this work and reach more members who need it.

90% of active SitGrit members report improvements in their overall health. 💪

But the impact goes far beyond fitness. SitGrit classes create a space where people with disabilities can build strength, confidence, and community—together.

As the Paralympic Games highlight the power of adaptive sports around the world, we're raising funds to keep SitGrit classes accessible for our members and expand opportunities for inclusive fitness.

Every donation helps ensure that people of all abilities have a space to move, train, and belong.
