Thankful for @allgood_studios and to the New London community for always helping!

Here’s a little BTS of this past weekends creator experience I hosted alongside Isiah during the CT Maritime Heritage Fest.

These experiences are fun and help the City of New London and local businesses have more of a spotlight. But they can be a little stressful if things don’t go smoothly!

… and we all really need them to go as smoothly as possible!! More on that later.

Three LOW EFFORT ways to connect with like-minded people:

1. Follow your industry crowd. There’s TONS of networking events. A lot of fun ones too!

💗 This was the @nycedits4 creative community gathering.

2. Connect with someone you’ve been talking to online, in-person. You’ve done the work to engage with one another over time, now enact a plan for some face time.

💗 My favorite thing to do is invite people I know online to be my +1 when I have extra tickets.

3. FB groups are great for seeing what events are happening. Extend yourself. Someone needs a ride and they’re on the way to the event? Offer the ride! This is how you build your community.

I decided that I was going to start my own social media marketing business in 2022 after feeling unaligned with local marketing agencies.

I had NO clue what I was getting myself into and the @chamberect happened to launch a program called the Entrepreneur Academy that same year.

This truly set the perfect foundation for me! 🤗

I’ve since gotten an LLC for Socially AcceptID and have worked with dozens of clients including the City of New London and the State of CT. 🤗

If you don’t know where to start with your business, START HERE! This program is also great for those within their first few years in business.

Some of my favorite summer memories were made here and every year, this was THE event everyone looked forward to. This year, at Celebrate New London, I got to help others make memories of their own! 🥹💗

I TRULY believe it is extremely important to help each other grow as creators, particularly within the tourism industry (which includes restaurants, attractions, and events).

The results? Tens of thousands of views and hundreds of shares.

That means my content wasn’t just watched.
