I’m sharing our client testimonials from a Culture by Co-Design workshop for the first time. I’m proud of this work. This feedback matters because it speaks to the lasting value of the work, not just the experience in the room.

CxCD helps teams turn culture into practical behaviour through co-designed facilitation, clearer ways of working and follow-through that continues after the workshop.

I have spent the past five years studying what workplace culture looks like - under pressure.

That work builds on 25+ years of practice, 10,000 workshops, 1,200 learning programs and more than 1+ million people reached.

That is a lot of people, data and HELLA LOT OF post-it notes.

I have been reviewing the patterns and turning them into practical models, frameworks and tools through Culture by Co-Design. (yes, I have finally created a deep IP models, facilitation and experience design dossier)

This short video captures the true north of the work: creating the conditions for people to contribute, belong and do their best work together.

There is no shortage of workplace culture content. There is still a shortage of workplaces that function well when things get difficult.

That is the gap I care about.

The work is coming out of the folders and into the conversation.

I’ve been thinking about abundance while managing PTSD, low moods and very real financial stress. Excellent timing. My brain would prefer we revisit something from 1994.

I’m learning to ask a better question than “Why can’t I get it together?”

What conditions help me participate, connect, work, lead and belong?

And whose expectations am I carrying? The pressure to earn more, look different, push through and need nobody didn’t appear out of nowhere. We don’t all have the same resources, responsibilities or room to manoeuvre.

Knowing my patterns helps me recognise what I need and where I have choices. Sometimes that’s changing my plans. Sometimes it’s asking for help or questioning a condition I shouldn’t have to keep adjusting myself around.

We’ve become very used to treating a good life as a solo project. Yet so much becomes possible through shared knowledge, practical support, introductions and people who make room for us.

That’s part of why I’m building The Table by SoCo. A place to connect, contribute and receive. To build collective capability: the relationships and resources that help us do things together we couldn’t manage alone.

You don’t have to arrive with a polished plan or prove you’re useful enough to belong.

What would become possible with the right people at your table? What could you offer, and what would you love help with?

Most community events give you conversation. I’ve been challenging the status quo of late (ok my whole life really)

“The Table” is designed to help you move something forward.

It’s a FREE monthly, facilitated gathering for people who want to:

* meet people beyond their usual circles
* get perspective on an idea, decision or challenge
* offer their knowledge and connections to others
* leave with one practical next step

There are only 27 seats because this is participatory. You won’t sit through a panel, watch one person take over or be left to “work the room”. We eat together (you pay for your meal) and we move forward - together.

No pitching.
No prospecting.
No coaching funnel hiding behind the word community. Ick. *never selling you anything promise

You can bring a project, a personal goal, a community issue, an unfinished idea or something you’ve been avoiding (ya bills lol) You don’t need to arrive with a polished plan or impressive title. It’s about human connection. The 12 people signed up on the waitlist are fascinating 🧐 you’ll see. I bring the facilitation goods and— the good people together!

The point is simple: meet people, exchange useful support and take action after the event.

Community is not something we should only consume. It’s something we can practise and build together.

The first Table will be held at Dusty’s in Fitzroy. Big car park 🅿️ so it’s easy to be there. Inclusive, accessible, diverse. Did I mention free? 🆓

What’s the thing you keep saying you’re going to do?

Build the idea.
Make the decision.
Write the application.
Start the project.
Sort out your life admin.
Do the bloody bills.

Sometimes we don’t need another course, productivity hack or inspirational podcast.

We need somewhere to go.

So I’m creating The Table: free evenings for people who want to move something forward without having to do it alone.

I’ll facilitate a short 30-minute session to help you work out what matters, what’s keeping you stuck and the next move you can actually make.

Then we eat.

You can work quietly, talk things through, ask for help, offer help or simply enjoy being around other humans while you get your thing done.

Come with a big ambition, an annoying task or no idea where to begin.

All ages, cultures, religions, genders, bodies and backgrounds are welcome.

The evening is free. You just pay for your dinner at @dustysfitzroy (plenty of car park 🅿️ near by)

No networking performance.
No forced vulnerability.
No program waiting to sell you something.

Just good food, interesting humans and a couple of hours to finally move the thing.
