We’re so grateful to be part of a community that cares deeply, and to have spent the day alongside so many people supporting those affected by breast cancer. To everyone walking for themselves, for someone they love, or in memory of someone they miss: we’re glad to stand and sing alongside you. Here’s to checking in on our people, making time for our own health, and continuing to show up for each other in all the ways that matter. 💕 Thank you to Mike Muegel for capturing the day! 📸 #SoCoWomensChorus #MoreThanPink #WomenSupportingWomen #AustinCommunity #BreastCancerAwareness by @socowomens
Every year, we’re honored to sing the national anthem at the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk in Austin. Being part of a community that shows up for one another in such meaningful ways reminded us why this work matters. Thank you to @susangkomen for having us, and to all our singers who showed up to support this cause and truly walk the walk. We’re proud to lend our voices to a day dedicated to research, support, and hope. A gentle reminder to schedule your recommended mammograms and regular women’s wellness visits. Taking care of ourselves is part of taking care of one another. 🎀 #SoCoWomensChorus #MoreThanPink #KomenAustin #BreastCancerAwareness #AustinCommunity by @socowomens

Another thanks to our resident clinician, Spencer Wiley, for sharing his time with us. We’re getting so excited to share our joy with you! ✨ Joyful, Joyful! Spencer Spotlight ✨ Meet Spencer Wiley, SoCo’s Resident Clinician for Joyful, Joyful! A Gospel Holiday. Spencer is a true gem of a human and a deeply gifted clinician, conductor, and music educator. A peek behind the curtain at our time with @thechainsmokers and @aclfestival. ❤️‍🔥 Behind those few minutes of music were hours of preparation, rehearsals, coordination, and a whole lot of people working together to make it happen. Another heartfelt thank you to Lisa Holt, Anna Grimes, and Blake Musfedlt for all the work behind the scenes. To every singer who showed up and put in the work, to @mattmcguiredrums for fostering collaboration, and to @thechainsmokers for welcoming us onto their stage. From bringing our singers together to finding our place in a production of this scale, this collaboration pushed us in new ways and reminded us what a team can accomplish when everyone brings their part to the table. #ACL2026 #BehindTheScenes #SoCoWomensChorus #AustinArts #TheChainsmokers by @socowomens
What an unforgettable TWO weekends at ACL 2026! A huge thank you to @thechainsmokers and @mattmcguiredrums for inviting us into this collaboration, and to @aclfestival for having us on one of our hometown’s biggest stages! We love making music in Austin. Getting to represent our city this way, alongside wonderful musicians and friends, was pretty special. Thank you for giving us the chance to represent our city in such a joyful way! We’ll remember this one for a long time. 🌹 #ACL2026 #TheChainsmokers #SocoWomensChorus #ACLFest2026 #AustinCityLimits by @socowomens
Our @aclfestival collaboration with The Chainsmokers took a lot of incredible people working behind the scenes, and we want to spotlight two of them today. A huge thank you to Blake Musfeldt and Anna Grimes for the care, time, and talent they brought to this project. Blake selected and prepared our tenor/bass ensemble members and assisted in running joint rehearsals, while Anna served as our Event Production Manager, keeping the many moving pieces of the project coordinated flawlessly behind the scenes. About Anna: @annareynal is a creative entrepreneur based in Austin, TX who is excited by the exploration of voice, community, and artistic expression through choral performance. As a multi-disciplinary artist, she is pursuing a body of work that celebrates feminine energy, collective embodiment, and the place where creativity and self-discovery meet. For the past four seasons, she has been singing with SoCo Women’s Chorus and recently co-lead the pilot program for our Spark community performances. In addition to producing her own creative photography projects over the past 13 years, she continues to support the work of other artists, helping bring their visions to life behind the scenes and on stage. She holds dual degrees from @elonuniversity in Music and Event Management. About Blake: @musfeldt_music is a multi-instrumentalist and sophomore choral education student at the University of Texas @butlersom. He has performed with many choral and instrumental ensembles at prestigious events across the country, and is currently a member of the UT Concert Chorale, Hispanic Caribbean Ensemble, and Longhorn Singers. Outside of school, he is a freelance vocal arranger and musician, and enjoys exploring outdoors, spending time with friends, and singing with his barbershop quartet @di_quartet. by @socowomens
