Every year at @slausonandco Summer Camp, we intentionally step away from the screens, the pitch decks, and the endless to-do lists. Building a company is a beautiful, exhausting journey, but it shouldn’t come at the cost of your mental health.

This year was all about creating space for our portfolio founders to just be. To rest, to reset, and to remind each other that stepping back to take a breath isn’t a distraction from the work—it is the work. ⛺️🌿

These photos take me back every time.

I’ve been missing Mexico in the best way. The World Cup reminded me of everything I love about it: the warmth of the people, the food that tastes like home, the music that plays everywhere, the family that shows up for everything, the community ready to party at any given moment (and throw you in the air too #quierevolar), and the values that were instilled in me before I even understood what they meant.

The hospitality, the resilience, the pride, the joy, the way we love loudly and protect our own fiercely even when we go through hardships. Despite the loss, what a reminder of what a privilege it is to be from this place 🇲🇽❤️
