It’s been a longtime dream for us to write and illustrate a children’s book together…and it’s finally here!“The Northland Beckons: An Illustrated Haiku Journey” is a sweet collection of haiku poetry that allows readers to explore nature and meet the animals who call this treasured wilderness home. The inspiration for the book came from our background of living in Japan and Minnesota, combining our love of exploring the wonders of nature through the ancient art of haiku.
