We are beyond happy to finally announce the first of this years Line-up for the #freeridefilmfestival2026. 75 Seconds is a Movie directed by Marco Tribelhorn @troublehaus starring @jacobwester and @sofiawesters .

This film is about Jacob Wester triggering an avalanche and being swept off a cliff. For 75 seconds, he fights for his life inside a roaring mass of snow, while his wife Sofia waits in silence below. 75 Seconds is an account of chaos, fear, and hope inside an avalanche.

Late in the evening on March 27th, 2026, professional freeskier Jacob Wester would find himself in the one situation most mountain enthusiasts fear the most - a giant avalanche, carrying him, alone with his thoughts down almost a vertical kilometer of steep and complicated terrain, severely injuring him along the way as he is violently thrown off of cliff bands and into rocks. At the bottom of the mountain, his wife, @sofiawesters could only watch in disbelief as a cloud of snow filled the air, and a deep rumble echoed through the valley, knowing her husband was somewhere in the midst of it. Somehow, despite all odds, it wasn’t his time to leave.

75 seconds, a short movie directed by Marco Tribelhorn, invites its audience to follow along on Jacob’s ride towards what he thought was the end of his 38 years in this world. He shares his final thoughts, his acceptance of his fate, and his resolve in the fight of (and for) his life.

End of summer in Stockholm and I’m seeing this city from a different perspective! Climbing outdoors with friends within an hour from our apartment downtown is really so special. Final stop on our roadtrip is @tivedstorp located deep in the forest in Örebro county. Tivedstorp is neighbour with a huge national park, Tiveden, famous for their giant boulders and its forest that depend on natural wildfires. Fire is a vital part of the ecosystem, helping new life emerge, creating habitats for rare plants and insects, and keeping the forest healthy. Even today, controlled burns are sometimes used to preserve this unique environment.

Jake and I went hiking straight away on one of the parks many hiking trails. I ended up swimming in a nearby lake as usual before the sky opened.

@tivedstorp is actually more of a village than a hotel and is family run by Anders and Anna. They also have their own psychedelic rock festival, Electric Moon, in the end of the summer every year. That made me very keen to come back to this place! by @sofiawesters

Checked in at @halmstadgardshotell and went straight to one of Swedens most famous beaches, Tylösand, for a swim.

So nice to stay at this cute family owned hotel right between the city and the beach. Got spoiled by the owners with homemade pizza, cute animals and the most comfortable bed of the trip so far. Always love visiting Halmstad during the summer 💛 taken in Halmstad Gårdshotell by @sofiawesters

Visited Landskrona and @landskrona.vandrarhem for the first time!

Landskrona is a little bit of a hidden gem in southern Sweden, nestled along the Öresund coast. We jumped straight on a bicycle and went exploring this cute city with its own citadel and very picturesque water tower. Ended the day with a swim during the most beautiful sunset of the trip!

The day after we took a 30 minute ferry to the idyllic island of Ven. Definitely one of the prettiest islands I have ever been to 💕 taken in Landskrona by @sofiawesters
