With all the uncertainty in the world at times like these; exponential change on the horizon of humanity, political turmoil, all our differences, nuances, beliefs, values and cultures constantly pushed, polarised and pitted against each other, it’s so easy to get caught up worrying about the future or lost nostalgia. Yet in this beautiful town tucked between the mountains and the sea, the moment draws you in quiet like no where else I’ve been. The soul of the people and their way of life brims, the calm buzz of connection - constant. Laughter and music travel on the ocean breeze, each face never too shy from a smile or Salam. Kinships from trucks to fins, sweet smells of pomegranate to hot roof top tin, tagines to coffee, fresh oranges and mint.
Really Taghazout is quiet like no other place on earth.

What a protest this was. Truly magical to see so many people coming to support and fight for our shared waters. The creativity and effort people pulled together for this was really special and the atmosphere was definitely palpable.

The more we speak up and the more we CONTINUE to talk about this cause the further we will get. There are more of us than them and they bet on keeping us subdued and distracted so big companies can continue to poison our waters for profit.
