I’m so excited to share this project! Last year I wrote and designed “Castles”, a slice of life female-driven drama about three generations of women as they navigate the complexities of their relationships, loss and their notion of family. Today Castles was screened at the Encounters Film Festival in Bristol as part of the NAHEMI winning films. It was an amazing experience getting to tell this story and building the world around it!!! Shoutout to the incredible team I worked with: Starring: Tiffany Clare, Priya-Rose Brookwell, Katherine Oliver Director: Shuang Zheng Producer: Silke Thompson DoP: Jiaqi Liu Sound: Ivan Hung Editor: @arzunexists Production Design: yours truly • 🎬 OFFICIAL SELECTION - Lift-Off Global Network 2023 🎬 OFFICIAL SELECTION - Pune Short Film Festival 🏆 Runner Up - Overall | NAHEMI National Student Film Awards 2022 🏆 Semi-Finalist - Student Los Angeles Film Awards 🏆 Honorable Mention | Art Film Awards 2022 by @sol.clappier
