My favourite pieces from the recent firing. I used a slate grey clay for the teapot and decorative pieces and they fired to this beautiful copper colour which was a real surprise by @solarclays

Had the best time over the weekend at @oxfordkilns doing my first ever wood firing! We had a big beautiful lesson in not only ceramics but of teamwork and community based practices. It’s beautiful how fast intimacy develops when you are all working towards the same goal.

Thank you so much for providing your knowledge and expertise @robin.a.wilson @lisa_sjukur_ceramic, @ceramica_ekta and @taylorshawceramics.

Big biggg thanks to @culfordstudios for organising and feeding us (Alex, Dennis, Esther <3!!) by @solarclays

Preparing for my first wood firing next week. For some reason, knowing that I’m doing an experimental firing is making me produce more experimental pieces. Quite excited about this textured teapot by @solarclays

Looking forward to joining @n4makersmarket on Sunday July 5th!

It’ll be my 2nd market ever and would love to see some familiar faces drop by 🫂

There’ll be mugs, teapots, frames and wall hangings- hopefully something for everyone 💓💓
