Leaving the Red Forest behind…

Another timeline, another planet? Or maybe just another chance to start over. 🌱

Portal 02 - A Gallery of Uncertainty. 🎨💿 Fall 2026

What if a painting had a soundtrack?

The haunting, almost human cry of a theremin, drawing us through the gallery into the Red Forest… where time falls apart.

Acrylic on canvas, reimagined as a vinyl cover.

Acrylic on canvas. A gallery of uncertainty… 🎨 where the haunting sound of a theremin draws us into the Red Forest.

Somewhere between a crack in reality, red forest, fire, chaos, and a doorway to the unknown.

The Red Forest, also known as a Hartle-Hawking state, is a theoretical condition where time ceases to exist. It is the goal of the @syfy_12monkeys to destroy time and bring about the Red Forest.

Soundtrack: The Gallery - @museband @mattbellamy @domhoward @ctwolstenholme78 @nowherethomas

The haunting, almost human cry of the theremin in The Gallery is unique.

Forever inspired by Muse. Still dreaming of hearing this hidden gem live one day with theremin!

i discovered lidar in 2008 through @radiohead house of cards music video , with @aaronkoblin as technical director - and i’ve been fascinated by point clouds and their strange pagan poetry ever since.

i’ve always loved how .ply files turn reality into psychedelic paintings 😵‍💫🌈 or #aerografía

years later, i’m still exploring scans, light and data building new worlds from fragments of reality.

still in rainbows 🌈

For this video I’m sharing a 3D scan of the historic BEBC bubble chamber in the Jardin des Particules at @cern . I’ve been using 3D scanning for several years now, both as a way to create virtual visits of scientific spaces and as a digital archive to preserve them over time.

The Big European Bubble Chamber (BEBC) was a giant vessel filled with superheated liquid. When invisible, charged particles crossed the chamber, they left delicate trails of tiny bubbles that were photographed from several angles. In the 1970s and 1980s, these images caused a real sense of wonder: for the first time, physicists could see the trajectories of particles and reconstruct their interactions frame by frame.

Here is a little journey into the inner guts of this “haunted” bubble chamber - enjoy the visit!

Happy New Year 2026 ✨

Pourquoi Solarpunk ?

Why Solarpunk? Because I’m drawn to desirable futures: practical, optimistic, designed with care (not just trends). 🌿
Why 42? A nod to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: the “answer” only matters if we connect worlds - culture, science, communities, production.
