i can teach yoga ! 🪇

☆ photos taken on my first yoga mat from 10 + years ago now
☆ going into some in person training very soon #bless
☆ photos taken in the spot i first started this YTT program (3 years ago) these trees genuinely sat with me thru so many phases of existence. that’s family for real
☆ our bodies are holistically complex systems & yoga is a vulnerable and strong practice to come into that awareness.
☆ i believe yoga is resistance to the systems that keep us out of our bodies all of the time too. I , like most people have been affected by these systems ; the patriarchy, capitalism , racism , poverty , etc & will not let them decide how my spirit, mind and body feel.
☆ SHOUT OUT Pantajali, Iyengar, The Vedas, Julie (my teacher who made me excited to teach asana and philosophy/history ), The Bhagavad Gita, my amazing support crew (gram/fam&friends-yk) , my gorg partner & the strangers in between. by @solchetes
