It’s a legit celebration: 5 years of Sole Aspect. Taking over Dante’s HiFi+ Miami, inside and the courtyard. All wax. All night.

A bit about the guest selectas: Never the loudest people in the room but hold a wealth of musicality, kindness and serrrrioussss crates. Give a warm welcome to my ATL-ien compadres:

Salute to jefe @richmedina for always holding me down.

#9 is out worldwide today, also kicking off Miami Music Week.

You can grab copies in Miami at @techniquerecords and @luckyrecordsmiami

If you’re not familiar with these artists, take a minute to look them up. There’s real history here—labels built from the ground up and years of music that’s shaped the culture. That doesn’t happen overnight.

Shout out to @dubbyman_deep_explorer_music @leepearsonjr.collective @specter708 @boowilliamsmusic @taelue69 for delivering serious cuts on this 12”.

And here it is.

Five years on wax. Five years in culture.

The official Sole Aspect 5-Year Anniversary Tee is now available.

Same slightly oversized fit you know from last year, but this time I’m bringing camo into the fold. A little more lifestyle, a little more utility, made to live beyond the dance floor.

Limited run. No restocks.

Shipping begins after November 1st, with local Miami pickup available.

Solely available at soleaspect.com

Been quietly working on re-establishing the label site, and very pleased to share it’s live!

Thought I’d share the mood board from the early development stages for anyone seeking inspo.

The ethos is clear.
Inventory is up to date.
Artist family is strong.
Sole searching is worth the read.

Certain @danteshifi nights just make sense. Mon Frère @grandmarchis + I runnin’ tings open to close.

Come through early for the listening session from 7pm— I’m pullin’ records with soul, weight, and history.

Niceness to @richmedina per yoozh.

5 years * 9 EP’s * 19 Artists

Never thought I’d be in a position to release music from artists whose records I’ve been collecting for years. Feels like building a dream roster in real time…with no end in sight. And I’m loving every second of it. :)

Catalogue #10 is next. Any guesses?
