Unlock your plant's true potential with the world's best looking grow lights💡🪴

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🍂 It’s not uncommon to find leaves yellowing on your plants this time of year! With the days at their shortest and the sun low in the sky, most plants are dormant for the winter and won’t be processing water nearly as fast as they do during the growing season, and a little too much water can often lead to leaf yellowing.

If leaves are rapidly turning yellow, consider increasing the light levels. 💡 This will help the plant process water faster and prevent any further leaf yellowing.

Plenty of other factors can cause leaf yellowing: poor humidity, drought, and inconsistent watering can all lead to leaves yellowing. However, if just one older leaf is yellowing and the rest of the plant is healthy, this is likely just the plant following its natural life cycle and is no cause for concern. 🌱

Plant shopping is always a good idea. 🪴 Whether you’re hunting for a rare houseplant, adding another trailing plant to the collection, or just browsing your local plant nursery, there’s nothing quite like being surrounded by greenery. What plant is currently at the top of your wishlist? 🌿

As fall settles in, fewer daylight hours can mean a noticeable change for houseplants that were thriving all summer. 🍂🌿 Supplemental lighting can help keep their routine consistent, supporting healthy growth when sunlight becomes more limited indoors. It’s an easy seasonal adjustment that can help your plants transition into the darker months ahead.

Which plants in your collection notice the change in seasons first?

There’s always something to look at when you have a greenhouse cabinet full of plants. New growth, a leaf that looks a little different, or a plant that might need some attention. It’s one of the best parts of having an indoor jungle, even when a quick check turns into a whole routine! 🌿

A pretty accurate week in the life of a plant person. Monday through Friday is checking leaves, watering, pruning, repotting, rotating plants, and generally finding something that needs attention. Then Saturday rolls around and somehow there’s always time for a trip to the plant store. 🌿
