Denise is the Founder & Designer here at Something Lettered. Originally from California but now lives in Idaho and serves all our Idaho Weddings.
Ashley is our first ever employee and has taken the role of assistant & admin and serves our California weddings.

Words cannot describe the feeling I get when I see this reception space! The elevated tent became part of the landscape and then @kelseyraedesigns came in and designed absolute magic ✨ The texture pairings, alternating table designs and all the finishing stationery touches created such an enchanting evening, perfect for celebrating Allie & AJ!

Black on black will always be chic ✨ Allie + AJ's suite was such an experience - A9 triple thick invitations with black and white satin foil, a Details folio with inner pocket to house the RSVP card, and Wedding Weekend Itinerary flip book!

While keeping the overall design simple, we were intentional about the quality and small details that would soon carry over to the wedding day stationery. Stay tuned for more!

Some love stories stay with you long after the invitations are mailed. This is one of them. 🤍

We began the exciting process of designing their stationery for their summer 2025 wedding. But in the middle of creating their invitation suite, everything changed when the bride’s dad was diagnosed with glioblastoma.

They made the difficult decision to postpone the wedding they had been planning and chose to get married privately so her dad could be there to see his daughter marry her childhood friend and love. In the middle of it all, the butterflies made their appearance.

After her dad passed, butterflies began to carry an entirely new meaning for them—a beautiful reminder of his presence.

When it came time to return to their stationery, we knew the butterflies needed to be part of it. We intentionally wove them throughout the details of the wedding day, creating small, meaningful reminders of her dad. It was a way to carry him with them through every part of the celebration.

This is why I will always believe stationery can be so much more than paper. It can hold memories. It can tell the parts of a story that words sometimes can't and honor the people we wish could be sitting beside us.

Being trusted with their stationery was an incredible honor and I am forever grateful to have played a part in their love story. 🦋🤍

Some wedding days stay with you long after the last photograph is taken. Haley & Granger’s story is one I know I’ll carry with me for the rest of my career. 🤍

I first met H & G over two years ago for their engagement session, which, to this day, is still one of my favorites I’ve ever photographed. During that session, Haley asked if we could also take a few photographs with her family. Her dad had recently been diagnosed with glioblastoma, and those photographs suddenly held a weight none of us could have fully understood at the time.

As the following spring approached and wedding plans were taking shape, her dad’s illness progressed, and Haley & Granger made the incredibly difficult decision to postpone their celebration.

That summer, Haley called me with a different plan.

Would I come to their family home in Newport Beach and photograph an intimate ceremony with just their families?

Of course.

Haley wore her mom’s wedding gown. They exchanged vows surrounded by the people they loved most, with her dad there to witness it. We spent the most beautiful evening together, and I knew even then that I was photographing something far bigger than a wedding. It remains one of the greatest privileges and most treasured memories of my entire career.

And then, finally, this summer: Sun Valley. 🦋

The celebration they had waited so long for.

Haley’s dad was woven into the weekend in so many thoughtful ways, including butterflies that appeared throughout the celebrations. His presence was felt everywhere.

But more than anything, this weekend was filled with JOY. So many smiles. So much laughter. So much love. After everything it took to arrive here, no one took a single moment for granted.

Somewhere over these last two years, I stopped feeling like just Haley & Granger’s photographer. I feel like I’ve become a tiny part of both of their families, and it is something I treasure more than I can say.

H & G, I hope you weren’t planning on getting rid of me after the wedding, because I’m afraid you’re stuck with me now. 🤍

What an honor it has been to tell this story.

Nothing says "We are so glad you're here!" quite like a Welcome Party gifting lounge. Hailey & Dean wanted to show their love for their guests by gifting them a few of their favorite things - a full size custom record with their love songs, comfy apparel and custom playing card decks, among other necessities for their time in Mexico!

Sourcing and designing each gift was so much fun and I truly hope that each guest was blessed by the love and care that H&D couple put into each one.
