Roboute Guilliman the “Avenging Son,” “The Victorious”, the Primarch of the Thirteenth Legion the Ultramarines.

Enjoyed painting this. People always ask for help with the gold trim. I spray painted the model with Macragge Blue and then patiently painted the gold trim leg by leg, arm by arm, torso, back, then head. Wet blended the sword of the Emperor.

Marneus Augustus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines Space Marines Chapter, Lord Defender of Greater Ultramar and the Lord of Macragge, capital world of the Realm of Ultramar in the Eastern Fringes of the galaxy.

This mode was fun to paint. Terminators are always nice and easy to paint because of the large spaces their armour provides. I decided to go with blue vents on the back, and I painted this sub assembled.

It’s probably one of the best faces I have done as well, and I’m pretty happy overall with this one.

Cato Sicarius, former captain of the Ultramarines 2nd Company and current commander of the Victrix Honour Guard. His titles have included “Master of the Watch”, “Knight Champion of Macragge”, “Grand Duke of Talassar” and “High Suzerain of Ultramar”.
He is one of the Ultramarines’ most decorated champions.

This model took some time, mainly because I painted it sub assembled and a lot of people had a hard time in the beginning when this model first came out assembling him because of the way his sculpt was made.

Really had fun painting this model that I have been waiting for years to be updated and I was not disaaponted. Really happy with how it turned out.

Ork Bad Moons - Big Mek Dakkarig

Da Big Mek’s Dakkarig come thunderin’ across da battlefield, rattlin’, smokin’ an’ shootin’ like Gork ’imself had kicked it inna backside. At da controls was Snazzgutz Da’Flash, a proper Bad Moon mekboy wiv more teef, more dakka, an’ less sense than any ten normal Orks put togetha. “OI! MOVE IT, YA GITZ!” he bellowed, slammin’ every lever he could reach as rockets roared out, shootas went dakka-dakka-dakka, an’ great gobs o’ fire belched from da Dakkarig’s exhausts. Snazzgutz didn’t care where he was goin’—so long as he was goin’ FASTA an’ shootin’ MORE. “WAAAAAGH! I’M SNazzGUTZ DA’FLASH, AN’ DIS ’ERE IS DA FASTEST, SHOOTIEST, FLASHIEST GIT-KILLIN’ MACHINE IN DA WHOLE BLOODY WAAAGH!” he screamed, laughin’ like a grot wiv a squig in his pants as da Dakkarig tore straight through da enemy lines. “AN’ IF YA FINK IT AIN’T GOT ENUFF DAKKA… YOU’RE A BLOODY GIT!”

This thing was super fun to paint. Painting orks has allowed me to get a lot more creative in terms of painting. Alot of free hand flames and painting designs that I just don’t get a chance to do with Ultramarines, so it’s been a cool experience overall.

Bad Moons Ork Gretchin - Da’ ittle Rascals

Da’ Ittle Rascals is a mob of sneaky, mean little Bad Moons Gretchin what’s always lookin’ fer trouble! Dey ain’t big, but dey’s quick, sneaky, and dead good at nickin’ stuff what don’t belong ta ’em. Dey scurry through da wreckage of Armageddon, duckin’ behind busted tanks an’ shell craters, shootin’ at humies, stabbin’ anything smaller than a Nob, an’ nickin’ teef whenever nobody’s lookin’. When da big Boyz charge, Da’ Ittle Rascals leg it right behind ’em, screamin’ and blastin’ away, then dive back inta da smoke when fings get too krumpy. Dey call themselves da meanest, sneakiest, shootiest little gits on Armageddon—an’ anyone who sez otherwise gets a boot in da gob!

Bad Moons Ork Weirdboy - Grubnash Da’Loud

Grubnash Da’Loud was a Bad Moons Weirdboy wot has more Waaagh! rattlin’ around ’is skull than was probably safe, and Armageddon was exactly da sort of place where a git like ’im could get proper excited. Through da ash-choked air and burning ruins, with Imperial tanks belchin’ smoke and artillery thunderin’ across da horizon, Grubnash stomped through da blasted battlefield covered in yellow glyphs and janglin’ with stolen teef. Yellow lightning crawled over ’is arms as ’e cackled at da distant roar of battle, shoutin’, “OI! DIS WHOLE PLANET’S A WAAAGH! AN’ I’M GONNA MAKE IT LOUDER!” Den ’e slammed ’is staff into da scorched earth and unleashed a roaring blast of psychic energy, sending Boyz, humies, wreckage, and unlucky Gitz tumblin’ through clouds of dust and flame. Around ’im, Bad Moon Nobz cheered as burning promethium lit up da smoke, while Grubnash just grinned through da ash, certain dat Armageddon had finally become a proper place for krumpin’.

Bad Moons Big Boss - Wazdakka Skullgrabba

Here’s a tighter version that keeps the Armageddon atmosphere and action without repeating the same battlefield beats:

Wazdakka Skullgrabba is a proper Bad Moons Big Boss, an enormous green brute who stomps across the ash-choked battlefields of Armageddon, swingin’ Da Heresy-Krakka, a massive two-handed axe wot dates back to da days of da Horus Heresy. Beneath poisoned skies and the orange glow of burning promethium, Wazdakka leads his Boyz through ruined hab-blocks and shattered manufactorums, laughin’ as artillery shakes the ground around him. “DIS AXE BEEN KRUMPIN’ HUMIES FER A FINGIN’ THOUSAND YEARS, AN’ NOW IT’S MINE! WAAAGH!” he bellows, charging through the smoke as lasfire and heavy weapons hammer his position.

An Imperial tank lumbers from the haze, its cannon swinging toward him. Wazdakka bares his tusks. “OI! BIG HUMIE BOX! YOU FINK DAT’S GONNA STOP ME?!” He charges through the wreckage, clambers onto its hull, and brings Da Heresy-Krakka down with a thunderous KRAK, tearing into its armour until flames pour from the ruined machine. Around him, Bad Moon Boyz swarm forward, shootas blazing as the enemy line buckles. Wazdakka throws back his head and roars above the sirens and explosions: “ARMAGEDDON’S OURS, BOYZ! NOW FIND ME SUM MORE GITZ TA KRUMP!”

This model was fun to paint. I like the larger size model to work with and o think his pose is pretty cool. I would love to see what the other weapon options are on his stand alone model.

Bad Moons Orc Boyz - Da’ Wreckers

Da’ Wreckers is a brutal mob o’ Bad Moons Ork Boyz on Armageddon, led by da big, mean Boss Nob Skabrok Da’Smasha! At his side is Ghazgull Krumpmaw, always lookin’ for a good scrap, and Grimskull Da’Rippa, who’s never far from da biggest fight. Grukk Bonecrusha charges in with his shoota and choppa, while Mogrot Da’Mad tears into da enemy with his big knife and shoota. Skabgutz Bloodtoof carries a shoota pistol and stick grenade, while Zogbad Da’Gitstompa, da craziest git in da whole mob, stomps into battle with his pistol and axe, lookin’ for anyfing big enough ta krump. Together, Da’ Wreckers smash, shoot, stab, and loot their way across Armageddon, leavin’ broken humies and wrecked war machines behind ‘em. “WOT ARE YA WAITIN’ FOR, YA GITZ? GET KRUMPIN’! DA WRECKERS ARE COMIN’!”

Changed the colour scheme on this so that the two orc boyz move on the Armageddon could be told apart. Compared to intercessors I find these a lot easier to paint, and was great to utilise a lot of paints I don’t heavily use.

Krozza Da’Killa, Morgash Da’Stompa an’ Bolgut Bonehead are three Bad Moons Boyz wot’s always lookin’ for a scrap! Krozza Da’Killa is da shootiest of da lot, rattlin’ ‘is dakka while chargin’ straight at da enemy, while Morgash Da’Stompa loves gettin’ up close an’ personal, stompin’ any git wot gets in ‘is way. Bolgut Bonehead ain’t much for finkin’, but he’s got plenty of dakka, choppas an’ a head hard enough to smash through a wall! Together, da three Boyz tear across Armageddon yellin’, “WAAAGH! BAD MOONS! GET KRUMPIN’!”

Skabgutz Bloodtoof an’ Zogbad Da’Gitstompa is two uv da nastiest Bad Moons Boyz in Da’ Wreckers! Skabgutz carries a shoota pistol an’ a stick grenade, an’ he’s always grinnin’ while lookin’ for sumfing to blow up. “Oi! Hold still, ya gitz!” he yells before lettin’ loose with his dakka. But Zogbad Da’Gitstompa? He’s da craziest one in da whole mob! Wiv his shoota pistol in one hand an’ a big choppa axe in da uvver, Zogbad charges straight at da enemy, laughin’ like a mad grot while shoutin’, “WAAAAAGH! COME GET STOMPA’D!” Nobody in Da’ Wreckers knows what Zogbad’s gonna do next—and dat’s exactly why da Boyz love havin’ him around!
