The standard rises.

Through fire, ruin, and endless war, the banner of Ultramar still stands.

I wanted this Ancient to feel like more than another warrior in the army. He carries its history with him—the victories, the fallen, and the oath that the sons of Ultramar will continue to fight no matter the cost.

I kept the armor dark and battle-worn, while pushing those cold blue highlights across the plate and banner to give him that dramatic battlefield presence that has become the look of my Ultramarines.

And that incredible gothic backdrop is from EA & J Labs. Their terrain has become a huge part of how I photograph and film this army. The scale and architectural detail turn a miniature reveal into an actual scene from the 41st Millennium, and I genuinely love using their pieces in my cinematic work.

Huge thanks to EA & J Labs for continuing to support my hobby and helping me build the battlefields these Ultramarines deserve.

The faithful do not fear death. They deliver it. 💀⚔️

My Ultramarines Jump Pack Chaplain is complete.

Descending into battle with Crozius raised and the Emperor’s wrath on his lips, I wanted this model to feel less like a warrior arriving on the battlefield and more like judgment falling from the sky.

And the battlefield matters just as much as the miniature.

🛡️ The ruined cathedral terrain featured throughout this cinematic is from EA & J Labs.

If you’ve followed my page for a while, you know how much I love creating immersive Warhammer battlefields, and this terrain is exactly the kind of stuff I want surrounding my army. The gothic architecture, ruined walls and sheer scale make these models feel like they’re standing in a piece of the 41st Millennium rather than just sitting on a tabletop.

Faith needs no wings. Only fury. 💀⚔️

My Jump Pack Chaplain is nearly ready to take to the battlefield.

I wanted this model to feel like a weapon in motion—black armor, the skull helm staring down his prey, Crozius raised, and the fires of his jump pack carrying him straight into the enemy.

This one definitely fought me along the way, especially those jump pack engines 😂, but I’m really happy with where he ended up.

From above, judgment.
On impact, death.

The Bladeguard are assembled. ⚔️🛡️

Three veterans. Three relic shields. Three warriors clad in power armor and sent directly into the places where the fighting is worst.

I wanted each of these guys to have his own character while still looking unmistakably like members of the same battle-worn unit—scarred armor, battered shields, worn weapons and the dust of the battlefield still clinging to their greaves.

Individually, veterans.

Together, a wall of ceramite and steel.

The Bladeguard are ready for war.

Courage and Honor.

The final Bladeguard Veteran is complete.

I wanted this last veteran to feel like he’s already fought his way through hell—weathered armor, dust-covered boots, a battered shield, and the scars of countless battles.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about finishing the final model of a unit, and I’m really happy with how this one turned out.

One more warrior ready for the battles ahead.

Courage and Honor.

The second Bladeguard Veteran joins the line. ⚔️🛡️

For this one I wanted to push the feeling of an Ultramarine veteran who has been through countless campaigns—weathered armor, dust-covered greaves, an ancient relic shield bearing the scars of battle, and the white helm marking a warrior who has earned his place among the Chapter’s veterans.

Two down. One Bladeguard Veteran remains.

And then the squad marches to war.

The Wardens have assembled. Now the veterans march to war.

First of the Bladeguard Veterans is underway, and I’m pushing these guys toward a heavier, more brutal look—battle-worn plate, deep shadows, hard highlights, and the red helm of a veteran who’s seen more wars than most men could comprehend.

Still plenty of work ahead, but he’s already starting to look like exactly what I wanted: an Ultramarine built for the front line.

Courage and Honour. ⚔️
