Happy fall, y’all! 🍂🤎💫 It’s finally my favorite season!!

Finished my radiology clerkship today 🩻✨
I genuinely enjoyed this rotation so much and learned a LOT the last two weeks. It also prepared me well for my neurology clerkship, which I’ll be starting on Monday.

This week, we also had an interventional radiology day and I’m convinced that IR is the coolest specialty to exist!!

My weekends plans are to mostly chill but also study neuroanatomy and practice my neuro physical exam 🤓🧠 I’ve been enjoying the gloomy fall weather lately and enjoying exploring new cafes, such as @cafe_cinnamour 🤎☕️ (Cats, coffee, and cheesecake?? Sign me UP)

Thankful for this year’s September so far, because this time last year I was in a dark headspace. Through it all, I remain grateful to God. Goodbye July 🐚🌺🐋 and hello August 🍃☀️💕
This week I finished my psychiatry clerkship, and took my psych shelf exam yesterday. I’m officially done with 2 out of 7 of our core rotations of MS3 🩺 Excited and absolutely nervous for my next block, but for now, I’ll just enjoy my weekend before the chaos begins 😎 taken in Miami, Florida by @sonustudies

🧸🧠☕️ life lately during my psychiatry clerkship 🌟🫶🏽📚

I’ve finished 4 out of 6 weeks of my clerkship. I’ve met so many incredible people during my time here. I am genuinely going to miss this rotation so much, especially the kind residents that have went above and beyond to teach me and the other medical students!! Extremely grateful for them 🥹

If you know me from undergrad you know I am a huge mental health/illness advocate, especially related to trauma in underserved and immigrant communities. I initially applied to med school interested in neurology, psychiatry, or primary care.

I’m still keeping an open mind. After all, this is only my second clerkship. Either way, psych will be important no matter which field I go into, and will always have a special place in my heart. 🧠🌟💕 It’s a privilege to be here, Alhamdulillah by @sonustudies

“In peds, we have miracles and magic”🧸🩺🍼🌈🪁🫧💗

I enjoyed this rotation way more than I expected to. Everyone always says kids are resilient but I finally got to see it firsthand. Seeing and understanding the world from their point of view is so special. Having parents trust us with their children is a privilege. I’m convinced pediatricians are superheroes and HIGHLY underrated, underpaid, and under-appreciated.

Grateful for @nicklaus4kids, for all the incredible physicians who work there, and most importantly, for the kiddos and their families who allowed a medical student like me to learn from them. 🫶🏽

Happy Friday! Halfway done with my peds clerkship 🫀🩺🌟 I was on my inpatient cardiology elective this week and worked with some really great fellows that love to teach! I have learned so much on peds so far and have felt myself grow as a person and (soon to be) physician.

Excited to sleep and study this weekend, especially since next week’s hours will be rough 😴📚
